What Minute of Islands lacks in gameplay, it makes up for with it's beautiful world and in-depth story telling. If you want a faced-paced, action-packed adventure, Minute of Islands is a game you'll want to skip. But for those of you who want a more relaxing, narrative-based game, I highly recommend checking it out.
Donuts'n'Justice is short and sweet, literally. Dish out some justice and take out waves of enemies in this 2D, horizontal side scroller. With only a few levels, the game can be completed quickly. But I bet you a donut that you have fun playing it.
Citizens Unite!: Earth x Space is a neat alternative to the original games. Including newly added side quests, characters, and a hidden ending. Citizens Unite gives players a fun new experience that lets them play two awesome games for the price of one.
Heaven's Vault is a relaxing game with an interesting, immersive storyline and a beautiful world to explore. While it lacks some "side activities," it has plenty to offer with its unique puzzle system and tons of replay value.
I enjoyed Factotum 90 much more than the original Factotum. Complete with updated graphics and smoother controls, I would say the Nintendo Switch game is the definitive version. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're into puzzle-solving games.
Lydia is a small game, but it sends a bigger message that sometimes we need to step in and help the ones who can't speak for themselves. I highly recommend checking out this enthralling, interactive story about a little girl overcoming her giant "monster".
Selma and the Wisp is a beautiful, nightmarish puzzle\platformer. While it's a little on the short side it's still a great game worth experiencing.
If you're looking for a good puzzle\platformer on your Nintendo Switch, My Memory of Us is definitely one you'll want to add to your wish list. Even though it's a little on the short side the gameplay is fun, the characters are memorable, and the story has meaning. This is also an appropriate gaming experience for gamers of all ages.
Johnny Turbo's: Super Burger Time is a great on the go arcade game, and the ability to play with friends is a nice addition. I only wish there were a few more levels. But overall, if you're a fan of arcade games, or hamburgers I definitely recommend checking it out!
I had a lot of fun playing Crossing Souls. The game turned out to be a lot more than I thought it was and even though I'd seen the references and heard the jokes, I could relate to it. Not to mention how much I love the overall look and sound of the game. It leaves you wanting more, but in a good way.
Sky Force Reloaded is a really fun arcade, shooter that looks great on the Nintendo Switch. If you're looking for a challenge or something to make you feel nostalgic check it out!
Typoman has some great original ideas. If you're a fan of platforming or puzzle games you'll want to check this one out. I just wish the game was a little longer.
DBZ: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set is packed full of epic fights, side quests, and a good amount of free DLC. The game looks and plays great on the Switch. I highly recommend it for fans of the series.
Skellboy Refractured was a lot more fun than I thought it would be, and there's plenty to do to keep you busy. It isn't too long, but there's a good-sized world to explore, with hidden areas and special items that can only be found later. While I feel it could still use some slight improvements, I definitely recommend checking out this great-looking, entertaining game.
Battle for Neighborville: Complete Edition is a fun, colorful, silly game with a good amount of content to keep the player busy. While the game is older, this updated version is the obvious choice for fans of the series and newcomers alike.
Descenders ended up being a really fun, challenging game. Even if you're not great at sports games, or you have young children that might not understand the goal, this is one that the whole family can enjoy
Shantae Risky's Revenge is a fun, challenging adventure. Filled with difficult boss battles, tons of tricky puzzles, and all kinds of magic spells to learn. While it may be a little outdated, Risky's Revenge will always be fun to play.
Infliction Extended Cut was a fun, scary, mysterious experience. The gameplay itself is very simple, but the story and the things you discover are what make you stay until the end. I enjoyed my time with it.
The Adventure Pals is a fun platformer that players of all ages can enjoy (assuming they like and appreciate the silliness of the gameplay and storyline), not to mention how great it looks. The story could be a bit more lengthy but it does have some replay value for those who like playing co-op or achieving 100% completion.
Overall Romancing SaGa 2 was a great experience on the Switch. The console is a nice home for this retro gem and a lot of people are going to enjoy playing it for the first time. I highly recommend checking it out if you're a fan of this genre.
