Mar 23, 2018

While Flinthook was a swashbuckling good time, the poor level design and odd level system keep this title from being great. Despite the problems, this is a tight platformer with a lot of personality and fun mechanics.

6 / 10.0 - Outlast II
Apr 18, 2018

Outlast 2 is a decent survival horror game with nice graphics and gameplay, but loses tension due to a overused autosave system. While I had a lot of fun exploring the various environments, it just left me longing for the original.

This works well, since the story can be finished in a short amount of time. Coupled with a variety of decisions and character interactions via the shapeshifting mechanic, this gritty detective story is a great entry for the Switch library.
