Postal 4: No Regerts failed. The game came out of Early Access too early and is completely broken. It tries to ride on the nostalgia of the second installment, but it doesn't work.

Syberia: The World Before was a success. It's simpler than the previous installments in the series, but what it loses in the challenge it adds to with amazing audio-visuals accentuating the impeccable story. The game is perhaps more like an interactive movie, but it is not a walking simulator.

Mortal Kombat 11 is the perfect next entry to the series, which raises the classic elements of the fighting game to a higher level. You can blame title that it feels less brutal than the previous iterations, or that on some points it resembles a bit of mechanics from mobile games. But its foundation is clean, polished and fun. For fans of the series, this is a "must have" title. On the other hand it's a shame to see usage of grindwall mechanism in a 60$ game.
