For what it’s worth, this story is a step up above the rest, giving The Elder Scrolls Online a story that it needed, that it deserved, and even lifts up one of the strongest NPCs in the title yet: Lyris Titanborn. Lyris has been underplayed for quite some time and now that she’s finally getting her chance to shine next to the previously introduced vampire, Finorian. Greymoor gives a lot of hope for the future of The Elder Scrolls Online and shows that even minor touches such as the ones this one has gotten, can improve the overall experience moving forward.

Missile Command: Recharged is a reimagining of the 1980 arcade classic, giving it a new sense of enjoyment as well as a new appeal, including leveling up stats and chasing down leaderboards.

Whether it’s the name its carving out for itself as a rogue-lite title or not, this beautiful-looking game is one that is joining titles such as Hyper Light Drifter, Dead Cells, Rogue Legacy, and Slay the Spire rather quickly. This is one that isn’t holding back and due to the wide array of platforms that it is available on, it’s hard to not acknowledge the potential Dead Mage has to offer and if they stay the course, this could be the biggest success story yet.

5 / 10.0 - Those Who Remain
Jun 13, 2020

This isn’t one to just rule out if you decide to go for it, the adventure itself is creepy, unsettling, and truly one I wish I could have enjoyed more than I did. Ultimately, it was let down by performance issues, a lack of variety in gameplay elements, and its overreliance on “search and obtain” mechanics. While there are a few amazingly designed puzzles, this is not one I can say will really pop out and draw you in.

Whether or not you play Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix on a Nintendo Switch or a Switch Lite, there’s a lot to offer in such a small package regardless if you buy the DLC bundle or not. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone from pop to rock and even electronic music, each song varies in challenge and it’s just the perfect balance to say that this package is the best offering of Hatsune Miku and is an absolute must-own for Nintendo Switch fans.

8 / 10.0 - Maneater
May 25, 2020

For better or for worse, this short-lived experience is one that is rather fun for those wanting to just chomp their way through a campaign, giving players a bit to enjoy before moving on. The only downside is that it does leave a bit of room for things to be desired, giving us something that could benefit from some minor story DLC and or objective-based enjoyment.

Thankfully, KeokeN Interactive shows a lot of promise as an indie studio with Deliver Us The Moon and if things work out, they’ve given us even more hopes for a prequel, one that will let us explore the events that led up to this title in further depth in the future.

9 / 10.0 - DOOM Eternal

For others, this is the diamond in the rough that they’ve been waiting for, the game that can easily rival many of 2020’s contenders this far and even make them excited for the future content pieces that are expected to drop as some point in 2020 or 2021.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is spectacular and it does have a lot to offer those willing to jump in and give it a whirl. But speaking of giving it a chance: Let’s talk about performance for just a second. Just remember to try out the new various bubble abilities you will get as you play. Our favorite? The lightning bubble that shocks a single row and takes out any enemies it can with an electrical shock.

For those longing to pass time, this game will do it and it offers quite a bit of replayability for those looking for both online and offline options. The best part of it all is the thing that seems to be the least mentioned route: Local multiplayer options. It's fun and it does give the game an extra lifeline for those wanting to have something to play with their friends.

With the ability to put your skills to the test, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is the best there is at what it does and has to offer. It’s an impressive military simulator put into an alternative reality where zombies have taken over, which boasts a fun but challenging Horde mode offers replayability we haven’t seen until now. If you’re looking for a game to play consistently, this is your chance.

Warlords of New York is a solid campaign, one that brings a four-year story arch to its conclusion, allowing fans to see what awaits them once Keener is down and out, giving us a glimpse of what the future is and what it seems to be. For now, however, there's a lot to take in and let settle after the conclusion to the expansion which will leave players craving more at the end of the day.

9.5 / 10.0 - Daemon X Machina
Mar 18, 2020

hortcomings aside, Daemon X Machina is exactly what you would hope it would be on PC, which doesn’t fall short of everything you’d want from an Armored Core successor. If you min-max the hud, get it set up how you want, the game itself is even more enjoyable than before, it’s absolutely marvelous as some might say.

It’s not a game you will want to burn through in a single session, which while it sounds tempting, isn’t near as tempting as it might seem, isn’t beneficial and only will lead to some mildly induced irritation the further in you get.

8 / 10.0 - The Surge 2
Feb 26, 2020

One of the things that’s hard to admit is that despite its performance issues, The Surge 2 is fantastic and the Premium Edition assures this to newcomers and veterans alike with plenty of DLC (coming in a separate review) to enjoy.

Unfortunately, there’s a lot to try and take in with a half-baked DLC, which for what it’s worth to someone who loves a challenge, enjoyed because of the challenge. The gear itself has made tremendous improvements to my experience outside the DLC itself, forcing me to reconsider trying out a second playthrough at a later date, but the V.B.S. Krakow is only worth visiting the once, even for those hoping to really tear through its hull a few times over.

7.5 / 10.0 - HARDCORE MECHA
Feb 16, 2020

Ringing in at just $19.99 on the PlayStation Store, it’s hard not to recommend HARDCORE MECHA. With countless hours of replayability in the singleplayer portion of the game, a chance for some local competitive play and an ability to try some multiplayer fun, you’ll find HARDCORE MECHA to be a dish best served warm and one to not let pass you by.

Minor issues aside, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville takes the safe approach in doing things right. It adds in a few minor classes, tweaks a few gameplay variants to add in a change of pace, and continues on with a comical storyline that fans of all ages can enjoy despite the comic book mischief.

As we draw into the conclusion of this review, I can’t help but admire Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. It’s fun, it’s a great icebreaker when hanging out with friends or at a party. It’s a game that, honestly, is a great time burner and can also become a party game when you least expect it.

While I’m sure there have been minor changes made from the original release, I still have to say this has been a rather fun experience, one that I’m glad that I didn’t turn down since it seems that this game is a small step in the direction of bringing the series back to life.
