Hard, classic, and always fun – that's how Sydney Hunter's debut on Sony consoles can be described.

Ubisoft revives one of its most important and assertive titles in its catalog. It’s not just a good metroidvania: it’s an excellent Prince of Persia.

No Recommendation / Blank - Air Twister
Nov 26, 2023

Occasionally fun but filled with modes that add little to the classic formula, Air Twister is a project as strange as it is nostalgic.

Apesar dos seus problemas de desempenho e de alguma falta de polimento, Robocop: Rogue City é uma delícia para os fãs e um bom jogo de ação para quem procura apenas uma experiência violenta e envolta em humor negro.

With a game that seems to have been forced to be something it was never conceptualized to be, Upstream Arcade shows just how challenging it is to create a good roguelike.

"Despite its peaks of intensity, Trepang2 is more predictable and less focused than it should be."

If Rockay City was more than its references, its gameplay could shine, but what remains are uninteresting modes and a failed attempt to inject some novelty into the roguelike genre.

The Game Kitchen demonstrates a more mature and thoughtful approach in this sequel, which is, in almost every way, more fun and exciting than the original.

No Recommendation / Blank - GYLT
Jul 31, 2023

GYLT falls short of expectations despite promising so much. The theme is strong, but the game relies on clichés and predictable plot twists instead of making a genuine effort to be impactful and memorable in its portrayal. It feels like a minimal attempt to address a powerful theme, and as a result, the good intention gets lost, and the theme becomes diluted by the gameplay.

Jul 31, 2023

Venba is a poem whose verses we interpret and feel in different ways. It is a sincere story about the life of a family, with its ups and downs, but there is harmony in its tragedy, humanized by the bond between Venba and Paavalan - the chapters often end with the couple lying down at the end of the day, discussing their problems and doubts - and by the conflict faced by Kavin as a child of immigrants.

More than its main mechanic, where we can bring to life all the objects we photograph, Viewfinder surprises by never losing its desire to astonish the player and provide new mechanics and puzzles throughout the campaign.

No Recommendation / Blank - Gunfire Reborn
Jul 2, 2023

Gunfire Reborn does not have a single innovative element in its retention loop, and I say this seriously. The campaign's pace, level structure, division into closed zones filled with enemies, the constant search for more powerful weapons, the setback to the beginning when we lose, and even the inclusion of a skill tree – this is the roguelike experience as stated in the instruction manual.
