10 / 10.0 - Starfield
Aug 31, 2023

Starfield is the best Bethesda game there's been in years. A work of infinite ambition that revisits the company's classic formula when making RPGs and transports a large part of its design to the depths of the cosmos. In terms of quality, Starfield is Bethesda's best title since Skyrim. It gives the feeling that it is the work that the studio had always dreamed of doing; a longing that has ended up transforming into the proposal of an overwhelming odyssey in which every old RPG fan can get lost to meet again.

9.7 / 10.0 - Hogwarts Legacy
Feb 6, 2023

Hogwarts Legacy is the game I've always dreamed of. I never thought you could do something like this with the Harry Potter saga. Avalanche has dared to create something new, but still being faithful to the original material. We are talking about one of those problematic games because not only do they overshadow everything that has been done with the franchise in the past, but because the next title will have a very difficult time reaching the bar that has set this one. Hogwarts Legacy is the game every Harry Potter fan deserved; a work for which I was not prepared.

9.5 / 10.0 - Street Fighter 6
May 30, 2023

Street Fighter 6 is proof that we are facing the best Capcom of the decade. Shaping up as a before and after of the franchise, it is a game designed with obvious intentions to attract new people and, at the same time, preserve the incredible legacy that the veterans of the saga fell in love with in their day. It is the atonement for the ancient sins of a company that has known how to listen to its fans; it's a small step for Capcom, but a big step for the fighting game genre.

9.2 / 10.0 - Luigi's Mansion 3

Luigi returns with an adventure which most remarkable virtues hide behind his playable mechanics. Nintendo has managed again to create a game where what we do and the environments that we travel through are with connected tightly. The game and the player meet in an experiencie the feeling of discovery is the greatest reward and, ultimately, makes Luigi's Mansion 3 get into the list of the rest of Nintendo Switch greatest titles.

9.2 / 10.0 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Mar 21, 2022

‎Ghostwire: Tokyo is one of the most immersive games I've delved into in recent years. It's one of those games you don't expect; of which you start with a raised eyebrow and end them with your mouth open. Tango Gameworks proves with him that moving away from Survival Horror, at least this time, has been the right decision. I will have a hard time forgetting this paranormal dimension of Tokyo.‎

Nintendo goes out of its way to offer a succession of new ideas in an infinite chain of creativity to make Super Mario Bros. Wonder a point of no return for the series. Mainly, because anything the company does that even remotely resembles the games that came before it will feel flat, empty of emotion and uninspired. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is, in this sense, a new slap on the table by Nintendo; the translation of what Odyssey meant to what would be the sub-aspect of the franchise in two dimensions.

9 / 10.0 - Riders Republic
Nov 1, 2021

‎Riders Republic has been for me one of the biggest surprises of the year. A title whose gameplay is so effective as to knock down all kinds of skepticism and preconceived ideas about open-world games that try to besiege you with a multitude of empty contents. In the end, the most important thing about Riders Republic is that it makes you feel like the king of the mountain in every jump, every skid and in every stunt you manage to land on the ground safe and sound.‎

How proud one feels to know that one belongs to a place that is seen with such beauty from the outside. Long live Pokémon... Long live Game Freak and the mother who gave birth to them.

The Callisto Protocol is a game that loves fear from tradition; From strictly following the expression: "If something is not broken, do not fix it". The future of the space horror genre is more than assured with the first forceful step of a work that does not hide when looking at the past; of a game that is fully sincere about showing openly from the sources from which it is inspired. Something horrible lurks deep in the cosmos, but with games like this it's nice to come face to face with its darkest horrors.

With exploration systems that are better worked than ever in the saga, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is conformed as a worthy continuation of the wake that Origins created a few years ago and that, at the same time, respects the essence that the franchise has always preserved. inside. Therefore, we are facing a title that will be able to captivate both the most veteran and those who enjoy the new playable formula of the saga.

The new Game Freak game will please both newcomers and more experienced players because, although some sections of this new installment have received less polish, it still has attractive enough content for every trainer to find his place in the new region of Galar.

8.5 / 10.0 - Triangle Strategy
Mar 3, 2022

‎Triangle Strategy is an amazing game, but it could be even better if it managed to get rid of the need to spin a classic plot within the JRPG genre. Its mechanics completely eclipse everything that wants to tell us; how you play is a thousand times better than what you play for: the playable synergies between two characters are more stimulating than their dialogues and the pace of the combats is much better measured than that of their conversations.‎

8.3 / 10.0 - Far Cry 6
Oct 6, 2021

‎Far Cry 6 is a game that achieves just what it sets out to do: give you a good handful of possibilities to be free to find yourself as a player within the chaotic revolution of Yara. Despite its imperfections, I will remember the game as a place I want to return to; as an open world title capable of respecting you as a player and it is you who decides how to invest your time in it.‎

8.2 / 10.0 - Psychonauts 2
Aug 23, 2021

‎Psychonauts 2 is a new lesson in empathy from Double Fine for both video games and yourself. If you're predisposed to it, the studio's work can set aside its classic 3D platformer look to connect with you without you realizing it on very personal levels. Or, at least, that's what's happened to me playing it. Psychonauts 2 has arrived as a breath of air right at a time in my life when I needed a breather.‎

Frozenbyte returns with a fourth installment of its saga of puzzles and platforms that shows that the study still knows how to create smart gameplay riddles. Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a reconciliation between the franchise and its fans, an ode to their first two games that polishes and further refines what they presented to the world when they went on sale.

‎Effective in the mechanical and with enormous potential for its creators to nourish it with more content in the future, Rainbow Six Extraction is a safe bet for those who love zombies, but with a proposal that is clearly oriented towards the tactical and towards offering a more demanding experience than usual. My advice is to do a little bit of your part and don't be afraid of it, because it may be your next recurring game of the coming months.‎

Princess Peach: Showtime! It is a game that should be looked at from the perspective that it is a product for all audiences, with all the good and bad that this entails.
