Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is one of those games that is fully aware of its possibilities and, therefore, knows how to make great use of the elements at its disposal. The combat system, the progression of the protagonist and the design of levels generate an experience whose positive sensations are not completely diminished by the performance of this version.

6.8 / 10.0 - Rollerdrome
Oct 1, 2022

Rollerdrome is a roller coaster that goes up so that the tracks are finished just as you are about to go down it. It is one of those games that accompanies you through an incredible learning process. And just when you're ready for the best; just when you're ready to let yourself be embraced by him... it ends up leaving you wanting more.

7.2 / 10.0 - Call of the Sea
Dec 8, 2020

Call of the Sea could be considered as a puzzle and exploration video game where the first element weighs much more than the second; although both depend on each other to exist. Thus and with a series of puzzles that will take the player into a smooth back and forth between the frustrating process of looking for a solution to the problem and the satisfaction of finding it, Call of the Sea offers a proposal that complies with all the basic rules of the genre and the topped off with a colorful artistic design and a plot that delivers what it promises.

7.3 / 10.0 - Skull and Bones
Feb 19, 2024

Skull and Bones has ended up being a rather decent game for the catastrophe it could have become. Playing it, you understand why Ubisoft didn't decide to cancel it and gave it a chance. The work of the French multinational may not be the ultimate pirate fantasy, but it is indeed an open-world game with MMO elements and a solid gameplay foundation. It's not a game for everyone, and only time will tell if it ends up being so.

7.3 / 10.0 - Bleeding Edge
Mar 27, 2020

Ninja Theory debuts within the stream of competitive multiplayer titles with a game which has some gameplay mechanics that are convincing enough to shine on their own, but whose light goes off as you think more about what might become than what already it is.

7.4 / 10.0 - Redfall
May 2, 2023

Redfall is an open-world game that retains some of the greatest virtues of Arkane's design, but is weighed down by certain issues related to the genre to which it belongs. Possibly it will be a game that becomes something much bigger in the future, but finishing it has left me with mixed feelings. Right now I feel that, despite its successes, what shines most about Redfall is the promise of what it could become... And I don't know if this ends up speaking well or badly of the game.

7.7 / 10.0 - Sand Land
Apr 24, 2024

SAND LAND is definitely a good open world game, but not a game that exactly lives up to Akira Toriyama's legacy. It is unfortunate that SAND LAND's release and Toriyama's death ended up so close to each other, but it makes you feel like they could have done more with a title that finds its strengths in how close it follows the manga and how nice the fights on vehicles feel.

Princess Peach: Showtime! It is a game that should be looked at from the perspective that it is a product for all audiences, with all the good and bad that this entails. It may not be the game you were hoping for, but it is the one that is sometimes necessary to take care of the inner child in you.

‎Effective in the mechanical and with enormous potential for its creators to nourish it with more content in the future, Rainbow Six Extraction is a safe bet for those who love zombies, but with a proposal that is clearly oriented towards the tactical and towards offering a more demanding experience than usual. My advice is to do a little bit of your part and don't be afraid of it, because it may be your next recurring game of the coming months.‎

Journey to the Savage Planet is a title whose greatest virtue is to foster a constant sensation of discovery in the player.

Frozenbyte returns with a fourth installment of its saga of puzzles and platforms that shows that the study still knows how to create smart gameplay riddles. Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a reconciliation between the franchise and its fans, an ode to their first two games that polishes and further refines what they presented to the world when they went on sale.

8 / 10.0 - Blair Witch
Aug 30, 2019

Its mechanics, setting and artistic design come together when offering a title that tries to generate fear in the player, respecting his intelligence and avoiding falling into the most manic topics of the genre.

Hellblade II attempts to improve one of the most incredibly creative projects that landed on the video games industry a few years back, through which Ninja Theory shows the opposite sides of itself. On one hand, Hellblade II represents the peak technical performance of this generation of consoles. On the other hand, it doesn't really provide anything beyond what the first game offered. Although this sequel is really an amazing game, it feels like the studio could have pushed for something more.

With an overwhelming amount of new content, Super Mario Party Jamboree promises to become one of the most ambitious games in the franchise. In addition, it is a title that respectfully modifies the very essence of the saga with the aim of expanding its own limits and offering gameplay experiences never before seen in the series; thus fulfilling what anyone could expect from a Super Mario Party in 2024.

8.2 / 10.0 - Psychonauts 2
Aug 23, 2021

‎Psychonauts 2 is a new lesson in empathy from Double Fine for both video games and yourself. If you're predisposed to it, the studio's work can set aside its classic 3D platformer look to connect with you without you realizing it on very personal levels. Or, at least, that's what's happened to me playing it. Psychonauts 2 has arrived as a breath of air right at a time in my life when I needed a breather.‎

Evil Empire has come up with an absolute banger of a roguelite that is not afraid to show where its inspirations lie, so much so that The Rogue Prince of Persia could be interpreted as some sort of Dead Cells 2 set in The Prince of Persia universe. If this is what the devs are really capable of, let's hope they keep finding video games that inspire the entire team.

8.3 / 10.0 - Far Cry 6
Oct 6, 2021

‎Far Cry 6 is a game that achieves just what it sets out to do: give you a good handful of possibilities to be free to find yourself as a player within the chaotic revolution of Yara. Despite its imperfections, I will remember the game as a place I want to return to; as an open world title capable of respecting you as a player and it is you who decides how to invest your time in it.‎

8.5 / 10.0 - Triangle Strategy
Mar 3, 2022

‎Triangle Strategy is an amazing game, but it could be even better if it managed to get rid of the need to spin a classic plot within the JRPG genre. Its mechanics completely eclipse everything that wants to tell us; how you play is a thousand times better than what you play for: the playable synergies between two characters are more stimulating than their dialogues and the pace of the combats is much better measured than that of their conversations.‎

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has the potential to become a whole new series on its own thanks to the many possibilities that Zelda introduces as the main character, both narratively and gameplay-wise. It may not be the most ambitious entry in the franchise, and it definitely has some flaws, but even so there's a very big chance for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to become a fan favorite game.
