7.8 / 10.0 - Speed Limit
Feb 10, 2021

Speed Limit is a kaleidoscope of pixels, bullets and ever-changing gameplay. It's very short and not that deep mechanically, but speed runners and nostalgic people will love it because it's an intense challenge and an inspired love letter to the 80s/90s.

7.8 / 10.0 - Pacific Drive
Feb 23, 2024

Pacific Drive is an imperfect but unique journey into the unknown. It is a good survival game in which the eerie atmosphere, the customization of one's car, and the adrenaline rush of racing make one forget the flaws.

7.8 / 10.0 - Sunday Gold
Sep 12, 2022

A graphic adventure mixed with role-playing game that has some imperfections but also several good ideas, a beautiful art style and a lot of charm.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbacharged is what they say is a classic sequel: it enriches and expands the legacy of its predecessor by adding novelties to a consolidated game frame, without ever daring to dig deep or dare in terms of originality. Those who appreciated the first one and its gameplay will surely know how to enjoy every moment behind the wheel of the new Hot Wheels video game.

Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands is an elegant indie game perfect for anyone who loves winter sports and the mountain as a lifestyle. The camera doesn't always help to stay zen, those who want intense gameplay will be disappointed, but if you need a holiday on the snow this is the right game.

8 / 10.0 - Bears in Space
Mar 22, 2024

Despite appearances, Bears In Space is an FPS that knows what it's doing. Bullet hell and platforming, weapons to upgrade and secrets to find, madness galore, infernal boss fights and gameplay deviations, there really is a bit of everything in this bizarre Australian title which may not be perfect, but where it is written that a video game necessarly have to be one to be fun?

8 / 10.0 - For the King 2
Nov 23, 2023

For The King II perfects the winning formula of the first chapter by adding bonuses/maluses linked to positioning and some other pleasant innovations. The gameplay is improved and makes it a great starting point for those who have never played the IronOak franchise. It is not one of those sequels that shows off lots of new features, brilliant innovations or incredibly original ideas, quite the opposite: it is so anchored to its past that it also drags with it some of the defects of its predecessor.

Cities: Skyline II expands, refines, simplifies and complicates where necessary the legacy of the first chapter, but right now it is above all a vision. It is the vision of what could be after the dev patches for technical problems and the community mods to increase the content, the two premises on which the foundations of a fortune rest that, hopefully, will accompany the days and nights for a long time of a large group of city builder fans.

8 / 10.0 - Bleak Sword DX
Jul 2, 2023

Bleak Sword DX could be deceiving with its "mobile game" air, but underestimating the merits of the experience it offers would be a mistake. Frustration is real and there are some limits, but when the essential is so clearly visible to the eye and fascinating, it becomes easy to accept them and enjoy what is there.

8 / 10.0 - Park Beyond
Jun 25, 2023

Park Beyond comes with some intriguing ideas, some technical flaws, and some compromises to make. It's good at entertaining those who want to unleash their creativity by building the theme park they've always dreamed of and newbies to the genre, but those looking for a managerial soul to lose sleep over and their sanity might want deeper and more challenging gameplay.

A guessed, imaginative and coherent expansion, capable of kicking off Phase 1 of the Year of the Wolf with the right rhythm between well-known top decks, tantalizing new entries and solid archetypes. Not all the new features are finding space in the Standard meta, but the feeling is that the foundations for a sparkling twelve months have been laid (thanks also to the changes to the Main Set).

8 / 10.0 - Patch Quest
May 15, 2023

Despite a repetitiveness that, sooner or later, tends to appear, Patch Quest knows perfectly how to exploit its many ideas and combinations to lasso those who love to experiment and explore and, once the flame of curiosity has been fueled, drag him into a gameplay loop from which can be difficult to get out of.

8 / 10.0 - Wildfrost
Apr 22, 2023

Great roguelike card game, this Wildfrost. Of course it is not as cute and cuddly as it may seem at first glance, the art style is deceiving while the gameplay, with its inexorable countdown and perfectible balance, does not forgive the slightest mistake. It takes patience to give it a chance to fuel and a little stubbornness to get the best out of it, but it's definitely worth it.

Despite defects such as translation, progression in the endgame or an improved UI, Ace & Adventures is a convinced yes thanks mainly to the breath of fresh air it brings to the world of digital CCGs with its original, fun and stimulating gameplay.

8 / 10.0 - Goat Simulator 3
Nov 23, 2022

Cunningly exploiting its own limitations among which the technical ones stand out, Goat Simulator 3 is perfect for single player or even better in co-op fooling around, has a lot of crazy customizations and proves that the devs have truly given their best - or the worst, it depends on the point of view - of themselves.

It's not the porting of dreams, my experience shows me that it's perfectible, but after all Uncharted is always Uncharted and seeing it running on our PCs is a real pleasure. The lack of the previous three chapters is a shame.

8 / 10.0 - GTFO
Jan 19, 2022

No one would be surprised if GTFO was found to have been developed by the Devil himself. Punishing, frustrating and brutal, I can't recommend GTFO to everyone but if you like tough co-op shooters and you have three friends as crazy as you are then you'll fall madly in love with it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard clears the bar thanks to its convincing multiplayer, rich in content and with some new features such as the Battle Rhythm and wider environmental destruction, which reinforce an already solid gameplay. There is no innovation or revolution for the franchise, and those who have played the most recent games in the series already know what awaits them, but perhaps the secret of its commercial success will be precisely this.

8 / 10.0 - Back 4 Blood
Oct 18, 2021

Back 4 Blood isn't perfect and doesn't revolutionize zombie-themed co-op FPS, but it effectively demonstrates that, thirteen years later, the right ideas can revitalize superb but dusty gameplay.

Curious Expedition 2 is a fun roguelike that quickly turns out to be a matryoshka of unpredictable adventures. It's a nice tribute to the adventure novel à la Jules Verne, and one that knows how to reward its players. It doesn't dare as much as I would have liked narratively, but there's still plenty of fun to be had.
