I recommend Wartile for several reasons. First and foremost, it's a very competent strategy game, and it's worth it. The second is its visual style, with models and miniatures. The third thing is the blow to the player that it is a real-time game and not a turn-based game.

Operencia: The Stolen Sun is a good dungeon game, but it has a few problems. However, these bugs don't cover up the goodness of the title. If you feel like a dungeon crawler that proposes a challenge and has its own style, go for it.

Wargroove is a title to keep in mind, with its own personality and quite content. As a player, I'm not convinced yet, but it would be stupid of me to deny the quality that it exudes on all sides. Turn-based strategy of the highest quality, that's for sure.

Rimworld is my game this year. I don't think I play anything I like better. It's a mixture of ideas and genres that works perfectly. The DLC Royalty just adds more variations to that mix. One of those titles that you have to play, no excuses.

DREAMO is a good puzzle game. It has limited duration and resources, but what it has it handles very well. It is a game with a deep and complicated story, based on different and well thought out puzzles. If they had set their sights higher perhaps the game would have been better, but there is a good place to start.

Praetorians HD Remaster is a huge strategy game, which I recommend to every fan of the genre. Visually it's very powerful today, and the remastering makes it even more spectacular. If you want to relive the conquests of Rome, it is still one of the best options available.

The Pedestrian is a competent puzzle game, perhaps a little short, but with a personality and intensity that you don't normally see in this type of title. Recommended for anyone who enjoys puzzle games and wants something fresh and different.

WarPlan is World War II, that is the best summary that can be done. We are facing a solid title about historical recreation, which will make a few fall in love with it, but it's not a game for everyone (and that's how things should be). With some minor failures (the tutorial is perhaps the most serious), it is an alternative to have in account, especially for those who like turn-based games.

Planet Zoo has come on the market with some problems, but they are mostly solved. What we have right now is a huge management game, with a considerable amount of content and a very bright future. If you buy Planet Zoo you won't go wrong, and I'm sure the animals will thank you for it.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is a game that may not go down in history, but it does its job: to propose an interesting story alongside the alchemy so normal in the saga. It is a perfect game for all those new to the saga, as it offers certain new aspects. However, I'm sure the traditional player will also like it, as it's, above all, a very solid game.

Sparklite is a fun and visually beautiful game, but it lacks content. I'm sure they'll add to it in the long run, so I'm left with the good things about the title, a very solid playable base and a game that's a pleasure to play. And it's fun, which is what matters.

Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones is everything a fan would ask from a game about the Myths of Cthulhu. Even though bugs and poor combat may throw some people off, everyone who gives it a chance will find a title with many virtues. You can see the love of the developers towards their title and towards H.P. Lovecraft.

Neon Tide is a really strange game, with a confusing story, insufficient duration and a surprising graphic section. The music is worth it, and those of you who really enjoy strange things can take a look at it. I don't recommend it to everyone else.

It feels wrong to say that Sin Slayers has disappointed me. The idea is interesting, and I'm sure that with a few patches they will be able to fix my main complaint: after a while it gets boring to play. This in a roguelite, which relies on constant repetition of situations, is unforgivable. Although some ideas are interesting, the game doesn't quite measure up at this point. It's just a doorway.

Recommending Little Misfortune is complicated; it's a short title with limited gameplay and a bit of a price tag. But it is also a totally different product, with a quite different aesthetic and with a beautiful but macabre story. If you want something different I recommend you to at least try it, but I assure you that it is not a product for everyone.

Greedfall is a missed opportunity. At first glance it seems like a really worked out game, with many options, worked out scenarios and much more. But little by little that mask is falling, and you start to see the seams of the game. However, and despite its failures in combat and camera, it is still enjoyable, and those who seek a role will get something out of it.

If you're looking for a title with a solid combat system, an interesting story, and a high level of fantasy, Fantasy General II won't disappoint you. Crowded battles in a style that may be a little too bland, but it's still fun, and that's about it.

Crying Suns puts its trust in its atmosphere and history to reach the player. In that aspect of course it succeeds, but the title lacks baking in the form of events and situations for the player. If you can forgive that, and especially if you like science fiction and space, give it a try. It's sure to make you wonder, and you can destroy a few of mankind's enemies along the way.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a great metroidvania. It's got just about everything: tight duration, many characters (although it's really only one with several shapes) with a variety of moves, varied settings and tight gameplay. If you liked Wonder Boy, buy it. And if not, man!

Children of Morta is a very entertaining roguelite, with a very interesting history and an enviable number of events. I assure you that if you like the genre, this title will not disappoint you. If you also like cooperative games, you're in luck. The Bergson family is waiting for you, and Mount Morta will not be explored alone.
