60 / 100 - Arcade Fuzz
Apr 17, 2020

ARCADE FUZZ collects two games by brazilian indie developer Walter Romero, TTV3 and WARPZONE DRIFTER. Pure arcades that require extreme skill, ideal for fast and frantic games, but are not as refined as his star saga, UBERMOSH.

70 / 100 - UBERMOSH:OMEGA
Apr 15, 2020

UBERMOSH: OMEGA is a twin stick shooter very difficult to qualify, as it is aimed at a very specific audience that has turned this Walter Machado saga into a cult franchise. Pure and frenetic arcade that hides more than it seems in its barely 90 seconds.

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy returns with a remaster for Switch and PlayStation 4. Following the footsteps of the successful Jedi Outcast and upgrade it in playability and gameplay balance, though Kyle Katarn's change for a random apprentice makes the game lose a little of charisma. A welcome remastering by all fans of the franchise, and one of the games that deserve to carry the words Star Wars in the title.

65 / 100 - Tharsis
Apr 10, 2020

Tharsis is a turn-based survival and strategy game based on dice roll. It is a complex and difficult game, where in addition to doing everything correctly, we must be very lucky not to lose the game. It is addictive as we learn to play and progress in decision making and problem solving, but our margin of error is almost non-existent, and really, because of the weight of the random variable, we will never end up having control over what it happens in the game.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is the new part of this long-running Taito franchise. With a cooperative game oriented approach, and new mechanics and skills, the game guarantees us simple and direct fun, although it is true that it can be short, and easy, at least the first round, although ININ Games has taken into account the customers feedback and is preparing a free expansion with more levels and the return of Baron von Blubba, a classic, and a good move by the studio.

85 / 100 - HyperParasite
Apr 2, 2020

HyperParasite is a twin stick shooter / brawler with roguelike elements and a very original, thug and fun proposal, this time we are the bad alien that hates humanity, and we will have to infect numerous humans to take control of their bodies and fulfill our objective, infect the president and press the red button of the mass destruction. Highly recommended.

Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is quite a special game. Belonging to a very specific niche in the market, and to a franchise considered cult in that market, it is a fairly continuous part, which also suffers the consequences of having gone through a tortuous development with a change of platform included. Apparently but technically fair, and with a chaotic and irregular narrative that will take us from situations of great harshness to others of continual shame. At least it's entertaining and it has his audience.

Dandara was a game with high qualifications, and now that it has an expansion that, in addition to new content, also gives it soul, we cannot stop recommending it. A metroidvania different in style and implementation, but just as addictive and recommended as its most notable peers in the genre.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is the version that every fan of the fighting games was waiting for, 40 fighters, 34 stages, and more than 200 cosmetic objects complete a game that already has all its modes in full - in the absence of the already announced Online Tournament Mode - And it has also been able to touch up the gameplay with the inclusion of a second V-Skill for each fighter, which will make the fighting somewhat more interesting and unpredictable. If you like the fighting games, this is your game.

Darksiders Genesis is a minor game in the Darksiders franchise, but despite this, and the playable change of perspective, it is still a 100% Darksiders. Finally we meet the fourth Horseman, Strife, which will bring us a new way to play, and we will put ourselves in the skin of War again. It can be enjoyed perfectly alone but it is in a cooperative, where you can get the most out of the combination of both characters. The Switch version has lacked a technical boost, though it's still fully enjoyable.

85 / 100 - Samurai Shodown
Mar 12, 2020

Samurai Shodown is a long-awaited comeback after a rather disappointing last part. SNK has tried to bring the franchise to the present day with a reboot, and we attest that it has succeeded and with a remarkable high result. There are some tthings left to polish, like a larger player base without relying on additional downloadable characters and more game modes, but if you were a fan of the series, you're in luck, Samurai Shodown has returned.

70 / 100 - Biolab Wars
Mar 9, 2020

Biolab Wars is a tribute to the 8 bits, more specifically those of Nintendo. The game is full of details and mechanics that will remind us of the NES classics, and although it is not very long or very difficult, and certain artistic designs are questionable, for the less than € 2 it costs it is worth having a good time with the game!

Langrisser I & II is a compilation of the first two titles of the rather unknown Langrisser franchise, a saga of SRPG with enough quality that was born in response to the Nintendo Fire Emblem, and although very similar to these, they add their own ideas. With this remake we have the option to enjoy these two classics with a new technical section, a remastered soundtrack, and new designs in the illustrations, although we can exchange all this for the old designs at any time.

85 / 100 - Bloodroots
Feb 27, 2020

Bloodroots is a game that will remind us of Hotline Miami but that knows how to print its own character, although this is so crazy and thug. His artistic style will remind us of Samurai Jack, and even this may not end up liking everyone, we must recognize that the combination with so much madness and gore looks good. Anyone who has enjoyed Hotline Miami should try Bloodroots, they will not be disappointed.

75 / 100 - Blair Witch
Feb 25, 2020

Blair Witch is a psychological horror game where our protagonist must face any situation that may arise with his dog, while looking for a missing child and his redemption. From the creators of Layers of Fear a work in crescendo awaits us that knows how to be faithful to the franchise it represents and at the same time move towards another type of narrative more typical of the developer as we approach the end.

Nicky - The Home Alone Golf Ball is a fast-paced and cost-effective game that, after a little success on smartphones and PCs, tries its luck on the Nintendo console. We face a skill game where we must throw Nicky as many times as necessary to overcome the obstacles and challenges of the stage and reach the goal, or the hole in that case. It is entertaining, and for the price it has, it is worth spending some time.

60 / 100 - Down to Hell
Feb 21, 2020

Down to Hell is one of those games that are born from the inspiration of the Dark Souls franchise. It takes as its premise the atmosphere and the combat, and manages to do it quite well in the first, but a not very refined control does not allow it to do equally well in the second. This is not the only problem, and we will see details that could be better, although in the end we will continue to have a moderately enjoyable adventure if we are not too demanding.

75 / 100 - 7th Sector
Feb 19, 2020

7th Sector now comes to consoles after having collected a fairly positive review on its PC version. A narrative adventure with a breakthrough based on the resolution of a wide variety of puzzles in environments of clear cyberpunk atmosphere. The story and the way of telling it is interesting, but a somewhat rough control, the total lack of explanations when facing the puzzles and some illogical resolutions make the work of Sergey Noskov luster.

60 / 100 - Music Racer
Feb 17, 2020

Music Racer has gone from being a very interesting and rewarding experience on PC and Android, to a fairly simple and at times repetitive experience, for the simple loss of a feature such as the use of our own music. The basis may be the same, but it changes the experience that will now depend on whether or not we connect with the 29 electronic music themes that the game proposes. It is still interesting, but it is better to look at the tracklist first.
