River City Girls 2 takes the base of its first installment and expands it with new areas and other redesigned areas, new skills and more refined combat techniques, new playable characters, more missions, a longer duration and the best, online cooperative mode. But it also reuses entire mapping areas, enemies, resources, movements, themes from the soundtrack... River City Girls 2 is a very continuous sequel, although this is not necessarily a bad thing, if you repeat something notable, success is assured.

Nintendo Switch users are in luck with the release of Incryption. Danield Mullins' game is quite an experience that will really surprise us and blow our minds, with very unexpected twists and a concept of a metagame or game within a game taken to an unexpected limit for any player. As a card game it also complies, but we say from now on that this playable part is just one more part of the intricate narrative born from the mind of a madman or a genius.

Cuphead is already in its own right a modern classic that all lovers of run & gun and action games and extreme skill platforms should play. With a visual section inspired by the animation style of the 30s, perfectly recreated and drawn by hand, and a soundtrack with jazz themes that fit perfectly with the proposed artistic section, Cuphead already consecrates Studio MDHR in its first title and It makes us wait for news of upcoming projects from the Canadian studio and the Cuphead brothers.

Goat Simulator 3 is just as thug a game as the first, even more so. Bigger, crazier, more chances to unleash chaos, and incidentally a critique of the studio to the so hackneyed open worlds, so fashionable these days. We will be able to follow a fun plot while we unleash chaos for the great mapping and enjoy all the crazy things that are proposed to us. The multiplayer mode for up to 4 players is the great addition of this installment and it will multiply the fun for us. Finally, the Estocomo studio has to get its act together to improve performance and other bugs that somewhat tarnish the return of the horniest goats in the world.

Sifu was one of the surprises of the year and now it makes its way to Nintendo Switch in a more than correct version. We have the usual sacrifices in visual quality and performance in exchange for being able to play this demanding beat'em up anywhere. With its interesting playable mechanics and its staging, Sifu has earned the good reviews it has garnered and has become an experience that all beat'em up lovers should enjoy.

HARVESTELLA is Square Enix's first contact with the niche market that forms the atypical fusion of RPG with farm simulator and the room for improvement is evident. With Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia, the XXL subsaga returns with a fourth installment that is very continuous with respect to the third installment. The great attraction of this fourth part is the multiplayer of up to four players, which is how you can get the most out of the title. Gotham Knights, despite initial skepticism from the Batman fandom and the Arkham franchise, is by no means a bad game. It is true that we expected another bat adventure before the bat family, much less charismatic but at least with the change in concept we have received a funniest cooperative multiplayer. For the rest, we will find an action and role sandbox in an impressive but intergenerational Gotham. We will enjoy quite a lot with the main plot and the villain missions, and not so much with the premeditated crimes that will end up going through us.

Alan Wake Remastered is a game that deserves to be enjoyed, there is no doubt about that, but the Nintendo Switch version is only recommended if there is really no option to play it on another platform. We expected much more from this conversion, especially seeing the level of other versions for the platform, but it seems that Remedy was on to something else and what has come out has come out. A great game in a poor version.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a complete medieval knight simulator that improves and at the same time gives greater accessibility to its first installment. We have had to wait 14 years for this moment and we will not be disappointed. Although Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a dense game, which encompasses many playable fronts and formulas, and this can overwhelm at first, as soon as we get the mechanics down we will be captivated by the title of TaleWorlds and all its possibilities.

Let's Sing is back with Let's Sing Presents ABBA, a themed edition about the iconic Swedish pop band. 31 themes and several -and already well-known- game modes await us to enjoy this edition. We once again highlight the versatility offered by the Voxler title for the necessary microphone accessory. If we follow the Let's Sing franchise, and we like ABBA or at least its catchy and quite popular songs catch our attention, this edition becomes essential.

Although the remake of XIII was released in 2020 to generally negative reviews, this version, which is now being released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series -and to which the 2020 versions will be updated for free- has corrected several of the initial problems of the game, although there is still work to be done. If you couldn't enjoy the original game in its day, this remake in its current state may already be a good option for it, as long as we stick to its flaws.

Stray is an adventure with a simple but effective story, a varied and well-paced development, and a cat as the protagonist, what more could you ask for? In addition, the cyberpunk setting is perfectly represented and visually the BlueTwelve Studio game is remarkable. We have no excuse not to accompany our beloved feline on his journey through the abandoned city in search of the exit to the outside.

Soulstice has surprised us with its ability to approach a known formula and know how to leave its own identity. More polish would be appreciated but this is a medium production game with a lot of ambition. Steelrising is a manual soulslike, which implements every characteristic of the genre correctly and without taking big risks. Its history and development are one of its greatest attractions, and its graphic section is diminished by average production values that, without being bad at all, had potential thanks to a top artistic section. Despite the lack of final polish, this is a remarkable game and players who enjoy Dark Souls-style games will enjoy joining Aegis in the French Revolution.

The Last of Us Part 1 is the ultimate experience and the best version of the original game. It has been chosen to make small additions and improvements without covering major playable changes beyond the technical and visual section that has been redone from scratch. Loyalty to the original title is a virtue, but users who have already enjoyed the first installment or the remastering may find few incentives to play it again. However Joel and Ellie adventure remains a masterpiece and this is its definitive version.
