Ori and the Will of the Wisps is not only one of the best metroidvania in years, but also one of the finest Microsoft exclusives yet. If you enjoyed Ori and the Blind Forest then you're in for one impressive treat with this sequel.

9.5 / 10.0 - Hades
Aug 10, 2021

‎Supergiant Games has very little to prove with Hades in its console version, beyond its performance and optimization. It's not just that he's been nominated for game of the year. It is that this game already managed to massively captivate critics and audiences alike in 2020. If we can add anything, I'd say that Hades evolves in every way every time you play it, both playable and narratively. From what we can highlight the combat, which is the core of the game, is highly satisfying. This is a game you should at least try.‎

‎For fans of both the '90s and current beat 'em ups, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a game you'll want to play. This title has perfected and updated the formula effectively to attract current players. Players who are not familiar with this genre will come across a game that is genuinely fun to play. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is refreshing with fun, action-packed gameplay. And yes, you can play it on Xbox Game Pass. So you should have it already installed.‎

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - Complete Edition is a side scrolling beat-em-up, similar to Streets of Rage. It has a unique soundtrack and very well done artistic and graphic work. This is a really enjoyable game to play. Although it has some bugs, in general it is a very polished game. It includes several new features compared to its 2010 version, including an online mode that still needs to be refined. Otherwise it is a game that must be played.

‎Fuga is a game that has a lot to offer you if you like turn-based strategy video games. It's fun, deep in story and mechanics, and full of playable options. Although in the long run it can get repetitive and the chapters too long. All in all, I feel like it's a highly enjoyable game. The difficulty spikes encountered in boss battles can become frustrating. So it can be a demanding game at least as long as you fully understand its mechanics.‎

8.5 / 10.0 - Lost in Random
Sep 28, 2021

‎Lost in Random is a unique blend of card game and action/adventure game. The development of the universe and the plot has a hard time getting started, but once you have met Par and his unexpected companions, you begin to fall in love with his story in that strange Burtonian world. And we can not forget the humor that shines constantly, and the visual and sound section that does not disappoint. Its main problem is that the AI is not very challenging, and more variety is missing from the cards.‎

8.5 / 10.0 - Far Cry 6
Oct 6, 2021

‎Far Cry 6 is a great representative of the formula that Ubisoft has been refining. The modifications introduced, such as the elimination of the skill tree, have sat quite well with the game. The story in this installment, the villain, the allies, every element he brings to the narrative are something remarkable. In addition, the setting looks exceptionally good. However, it is not yet a next-gen experience. The main flaw that the game has is in the AI of the enemies which makes them many times easy to defeat.‎

8.5 / 10.0 - Sonic Origins
Jul 23, 2022

‎Sonic Origins is that collection of classic games that seemed like you didn't need, but that manages to be necessary for fans of the blue hedgehog. It is the best version of these games that are classic and that it is very good that they continue to be played. It's not a perfect game: it has problems, and it lacks games. Perhaps one of the most striking flaws is that Sonic 3 does not include its original soundtrack.‎

8.5 / 10.0 - Grounded
Sep 26, 2022

I feel that Grounded knew how to take advantage of its long trial period to have the contents that it needed in its initial version. The changes in the quality of life, the fact that the swimming mechanics have been added, having a whole new biome with new enemies, improvements in construction, among other things, contributed to enrich the survival side of Grounded to leave it among the first options for fans of the genre. In addition, the narrative content of the game has enriched it in such a way that now you have an interesting story that you discover the more you explore and a real mission: to return to your natural state, escaping the limitations of measuring an inch. Visually the game stands out for its art, graphics and lighting. Sonically it does not disappoint either.

8.3 / 10.0 - NBA 2K21 Next-Gen
Nov 19, 2020

Next-gen NBA 2K21 is the playable version of this game. Renew game systems, change many of its mechanics in depth. But while it improves on many of the things that already were, many of its essential mechanics persist. Without being perfect, this is the game 2K21 fans deserve.

8.3 / 10.0 - Cyberpunk 2077
Feb 27, 2022

‎CDPR with Cyberpunk 2077 is to create an almost unique sense of immersion where you can experience Night City first-hand. With the next-gen patch, many of the countless bugs that broke the game have disappeared. But not all. The experience continues to have major flaws. Plus it still doesn't have a decent police search system. All in all, this is undoubtedly the best version of the game, and everything good it did at its launch now makes it much better. Adding that it finally feels like the ARPG that should have been launched.‎

8.2 / 10.0 - Knockout City
May 21, 2021

‎Knockout City bets on gameplay and fun with a Dogeball game full of personality. Its special map and ball design enriches well-designed gameplay. If you like multiplayer games this will pleasantly surprise you with its style. It is a strong bet within its genre by EA Originals, most of which are coming out on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass.‎

8.2 / 10.0 - Night Call
Jul 9, 2020

Night Call presents an incredible graphic adventure in each of its aspects. Each character you meet has a personality, a way of speaking and a deep story. Dialogues is its main mechanics, and they work very well, with multiple answer options and conversation delays. Being your objective to solve a case and find the culprit, this game makes you feel like a true investigator, while you subsist in your day to day with your taxi. For this, this game also has some simple but great time, money and gas management mechanics that enrich the experience.

8 / 10.0 - Outriders
Apr 7, 2021

‎Outriders is a game that surprised me. The demo couldn't get my hopes up. But with the full game I have come across things that I have really liked, like its lore, and its rawness, but also others that discourage, like its maps with unnatural coverages. It is a game that takes time to take rhythm, but that works well in all its aspects, without standing out too much in any of them. Perhaps the best thing about it is its cooperative component, which greatly improves the experience.‎

8 / 10.0 - MLB The Show 21
Apr 30, 2021

‎MLB The Show 21 is a refined and satisfying baseball experience, as well as being fully accessible to both fans and those who want to get into the sport. Things like Stadium Creator and that the game works at 4K and 60 FPS are something we can all value. Visually there cannot be a significant leap from its predecessor. In addition, although it includes some major gameplay renovations, more effort was needed in this regard.‎

Oct 5, 2021

‎Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is undoubtedly a great way to celebrate the two decades of existence of the franchise, offering an experience so complete that you can get tired of playing at its levels and not finish it. This is perhaps its main flaw, which is not a game that renews or changes its mechanics. If you're definitely not attracted to its premise from the start, maybe this isn't the game for you. Their mini-games are great fun to play in meetings with friends.‎

‎Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition is a fantastic platform game with a lot of originality. This improved version of the game has fixed many of the issues with which the game was originally released in April. The overall result is a challenging, fun game full of black humor that satisfies a lot. If you like platform games, this should surely be among your interests.‎

‎With its 4.5 hours of duration, this game becomes so satisfying to play that you are left wanting a little more. The way he explores the weight of choice and the consequences becomes quite incredible. Lacuna is a refreshing, absorbing experience that wisely uses its proposals to develop a story at the same time.‎

8 / 10.0 - As Dusk Falls
Jul 18, 2022

‎If you're looking for a game that gives you a deep story, and you have no problem with limited gameplay in terms of live action, but deep in its decision mechanics, then As Dusk Falls is the game you need. On the playable side I think As Dusk Falls only fails at occasional action events. They are too simple and after doing them several times, they lose the emotion. As far as graphics and sound are concerned, the result is mixed.‎

8 / 10.0 - Book of Demons
May 11, 2020

Book of Demons is Hack-and-slash with a very particular aesthetic. The idea that it is a book is literal here, it is a world made of paper and everything has the same aesthetic. Arguably it is the paper version of Diablo. And like Diablo, his biggest problem is being repetitive. Book of Demons is a game designed for all types of players, allowing the most casual to access but ensuring a complete experience for veterans. It has an entertaining gameplay that offers you options that adjust to the time you want to dedicate to each level. And this makes a difference as a game. It is a good option to add it to your library.
