It’s time, then, to draw our conclusions from this review of LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight, stating that this is a game we highly recommend. It doesn’t break any new ground in terms of gameplay, but everything it does, it does very well. As much fun as all LEGO games are, this is the closest we’ve come in years to a new game in the Arkham series. Recommended for all LEGO fans, Batman fans, or anyone who loves open-world action-adventure games.

Twisted Tower is a great shooter that makes the most of its excellent audiovisuals to deliver a highly entertaining game which isn’t just a feast for the eyes, but is also great fun to play. That was 15 years ago now. However, with the passage of time, we’ve come to appreciate everything we overlooked back then. The very idea of a Western RPG based on *The Lord of the Rings* is, in itself, overwhelmingly compelling. Add to that some basic but effective combat, a few role-playing elements and the appearance of iconic characters from the series, and the mix should be perfect. It isn’t, but at the very least, it does the job and gives you exactly what you’re after: exploring Middle-earth whilst battling orcs, goblins and trolls. Could it have been more than just a graphical upgrade and additions that improve the game’s quality of life? Probably, but that would have required a remake – one which I do believe could have truly given this game the place it deserves.

In short, Farlands isn’t the genius who skips classes at school; it’s the classmate who, whilst capable of just scraping a pass based on their abilities, puts in the effort and ends up with a B. And, of course, for a debut game from someone who started out as a YouTuber rather than a game developer per se, it really is quite an achievement.

Decktamer is a card game that doesn’t break any new ground, but it brings a breath of fresh air to the deck-building roguelite genre. It’s a game that will make you think if you want you and your deck to make it out alive. It may not be ‘Inscryption 2’, but it doesn’t need to be to have you hooked on building the best possible deck.

It may not be a game for everyone, particularly given the stress it can cause in its later stages, but if you enjoy management simulators with a character of their own and dystopian stories, it’s well worth giving it a go. All in all, Denshattack! is the game we’ve been waiting for ever since we lost Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, SSX and JetSet Radio. A game with a strong sense of identity, a visual style that perfectly captures the speed and madness of its premise. It’s very style-focused and features a story which, whilst somewhat clichéd, does a great job of developing its characters, who are incredibly charismatic. All of this is complemented by a brilliant soundtrack that really elevates the game.
