Overall, SNK and Code Mystics have done an excellent job of revitalizing KOF 98 for fans and newcomers by adding even more content and improving old ones. With the impressive roster, intricate fighting mechanics, nostalgic visuals, and now competent online modes, The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition is an excellent game that can be enjoyed by both modern and retro fighting game fans.

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered was a treat to play through. The game's characters will entertain you from start to end, and all its mechanics have been expertly remade. As such, it is a no-brainer for fans of the series, especially at the reasonable price of $20, and a great suggestion in general to gamers who enjoy a good laugh.

In the end, Chorus provided a great experience overall. While a few kinks need working out, the amount of entertainment I got from it greatly surpassed my expectations and will surely satisfy fans of the genre.

Danganronpa Decadence is a great package of the three highly engaging games from Spike Chunsoft. While the collection comes included with some noticeable flaws, the overall package is worth every penny for die-hard fans of the series.

Overall, while not perfect, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One provided an incredibly entertaining and challenging experience that detective fans, especially Sherlock Holmes fans, will be happy to experience.

Overall, aside from the visual upgrade, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is far from a suitable remaster as it fails to change many of the original issues. However, while it's also far from the best Fatal Frame game, it does still offer players the signature enjoyable camera combat and some surprisingly fitting aesthetic.

Bright Memory: Infinite is an incredibly mixed bag. The story is nonsensical and the bosses are a bit disappointing. However, the overall gameplay is immensely satisfying, and the graphics are incredible.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is frankly a fantastic game and is objectively one of the best Star Wars games ever made. The languages are accurate, the character designs are flawless, and the art design is incredible. It's no surprise that the game is revered by both standard RPG and Star Wars fans, and thankfully, the Switch version pulls through with a highly efficient port.

Blue Reflection: Second Light provides an intriguing story and challenging battles despite its derivative gameplay. As such, I'd easily recommend it to fans of both anime and JRPGs.

Despite the few framerate dips and noticeable visual downgrade, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Prince's Edition is still a solid port of a great game that provides Switch owners a chance to experience the title to the fullest extent.

75 / 100 - Lost in Random

Lost in Random offers a highly enjoyable experience with rich, dynamic gameplay and an interesting plot. While it's weighed down by repetitive fetch quests and some bugs, it's easily still one of the most charming games I've played so far.

Life is Strange: True Colors is very much a Life is Strange game in all the right and wrong ways. The new characters and plot provide a refreshing new take in the series and an enjoyable experience overall.

9.5 / 10.0 - Tales of Arise
Sep 8, 2021

Tales of Arise masterfully blends its elements to produce a truly captivating experience. It’s surprisingly turned out to be my favorite in the franchise thus far. It may be lacking the multiplayer of its predecessors, but that doesn’t diminish the overall journey. As the first Tales game of the new generation, we’re already off to a fantastic start.

3.2 / 5.0 - Dragon Star Varnir
Aug 25, 2021

All in all, as you can probably guess, Dragon Star Varnir is quite a mixed bag in terms of enjoyment. While it provides an intricate and engaging combat system as well as some solid alternate modes, the rest of its elements are unfortunately rather lackluster or just plain inconveniencing.

All in all, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a bit of a mixed bag. While it does provide a lot of exciting and action-packed fun, especially for fans, it still boils down to being a generic third-person shooter that’s mostly enjoyable when playing with friends. If you’re looking for something to kill time until the next big thing, this could scratch the itch. Just don’t expect it to be something noteworthy.
