50 / 100 - Twilight Path
Oct 18, 2018

Twilight Path remains halfway in several aspects, being a title that can be improved in several ways, although it is very pleasant to play and ultimately enjoyable, despite its simplicity and short duration.

Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cypher[VR] has been a long time coming, but the important thing is to do it. It offers us a title that aims to emulate some references of the genre, mixing in turn several styles of play in a game time to overcome it content. It is not exempt, however, from needing some adjustment that we hope will be made, but today a notable game has several bugs present throughout the game that, if not solved, tarnish the overall result. You can enjoy it, but we must get used to compensating for the deviation of the aim, to constantly see forced postures that spoil a set that, on the other hand, would be very visually pleasing, and to play as if there were no subtitles. In a sentence we could qualify Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cypher[VR] for PC as a remarkable game with a very improvable port.

60 / 100 - Flashback 2
Nov 24, 2023

Flashback 2 is a game that could have been but was left half done. It has interesting ideas but poorly executed, and the technical section shows that this game needed more time to cook properly. On the other side of the scale we find the setting, the artistic and audiovisual section, the development of the story and a certain variety. In the end the key is whether we adapt to the control or not, this being the key for Flashback 2 to become a pleasant experience or we leave it at the first opportunity, always trusting that the bugs will be fixed through patches, such as It has become customary, fortunately or unfortunately, in certain titles.

Bluecoats: North & South, proposes a curious mix between Risk, an RTS and an FPS, but staying very on the surface of each of them, and leaving the result with the feeling of being very little polished. It's entertaining, just like the original was, but it ends up being a bit of a no-man's-land. It depends a lot on what mentality you face it with, you can enjoy it a lot if it is looking for the flavor of the original, or not if you do it from the search for an update to these days.

Animus: Harbinger is a game that does not deceive, it tries to capture fans of the Dark Souls saga and this presents a double problem. If you do not like them, you will not approach it or it will be uphill as a first approach to the genre due to its lack of polishing in the control and the impact box. But if you are, you will have better options at your fingertips before paying attention to this title. Only if you have already burned all the other options, you will find in this game a fun time, below average, but enough to appease the hunger until the launch of the next great title.

70 / 100 - Yum Yum Cookstar
Nov 15, 2022

Yum Yum Cookstar is a game that knows which audience it is aimed at and is executed with ease and will delight the little ones in the house. It's visually pleasing, the music is above expectations, and the variety of mini-games in the preparation of the recipes is enough to keep our little ones busy for quite some time. The difficulty and execution are very well adjusted although being intended for the public that is, the fact that the acid comments of the judges are only dubbed into English and without subtitles makes the game lose part of the grace and identity of which they can enjoy in English-speaking territories.

BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION brings us a new classic graphic adventure, but this time with a touch of another genre that will give us variety. With certain aspects that could have been better adjusted, it is, however, a good option for lovers of the genre who want to enjoy it in its version for Nintendo Switch.

Vaporum: Lockdown offers us a new story, but told without frills, through texts, audios and some dialogue. It is not worth it, in any case, to acquire the game just for its history. Nor does it offer hardly any news and its humble origin is noticeable. The developer has gone to ensure that it has already been very continuous. Which is not necessarily bad. If we liked the first installment, this one will too, as long as we don't expect any revolution but more of the same with the same invoice.

Days of Heroes: D-Day brings us the memory of a look that seems to be taken from a SEGA Model 1. After this simple visual aspect, they offer us a variety of situations in missions, usually quite concrete and concise, in which a simple text will serve as a context to get us to work to shoot left and right, advancing step by step. It is a game that, while entertaining and has its virtues, does not stand out in any way compared to other alternatives that already exist on the market. In this way, it is a fun game, but without much pretense.

70 / 100 - Hellbound
Aug 25, 2020

Hellbound does not expect to innovate or make us reflect or rethink the existence or any aspect of the video game world. Its premise is honest, simple and straightforward, and it delivers on what it promises. Its main handicap is that, in the current panorama, there are enough titles of this style, both current and classic, independently developed or large productions, that it is really difficult for Saibot Studios to break through, stand out and give a reason to acquire this title and not another that can be wider or have a rounder finish. Only if you are a big fan of the genre and / or you have already devoured everything that has been put in front of you, or perhaps if you are looking for an inexpensive and short game and it catches your attention despite not having many pretensions, you can give it a gap in your Steam library.

VD-Games has done it again. Since they began their journey, they have dedicated themselves to squeezing every nanometer of silicon from the machines they program for, and this time it was Switch's turn. But Rise: Race the Future is not only a nice game, it is a fun game, which lacks some details to be more rounded but which is worth taking a while.

70 / 100 - Conglomerate 451
Mar 5, 2020

Conglomerate 451 is a roguelike-style RPG with touches of strategy that correctly fulfills most of its sections. It does not shine in any of them nor does it come to invent the wheel and it remains in a comfort zone of the genre with which it will not change our lives but it is a sure bet to have a good time little by little that we like the genre.

70 / 100 - Eden-Tomorrow
Mar 26, 2019

It is not easy to qualify a proposal like this, not so much for its successes and its improvable aspects, but for the personal nature of its proposal. It is certainly not a game for everyone. Those looking for a more open and deep adventure to use, will have a fun time but will find better options. Likewise, those who enjoy this type of experience but do not speak English will miss part of it and will not enjoy it as much as possible. Weigh in at what point you are before launching yourself for him.

70 / 100 - Witching Tower
Jan 14, 2019

Witching Tower, for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PSVR, is a good first Daily Magic Production game for VR systems, which will satisfy our desire to plunge into a world of sword and witchcraft. It does not delve into any of its aspects and is quite short, but it has enough variety to be highly enjoyable during the time it lasts.

75 / 100 - Dust & Neon
Aug 18, 2023

Dust & Neon is a game that, if it came out at full price, might still not be easily recommended. In this case, with the price so low that it is offered, and as soon as we play a few games on it, it is a game that is easy to redeem and that we can enjoy if we approach it with the right expectations. Direct action, replayability, variety that can be improved even for the type of game it is, and zero complications when it comes to having fun.

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realms is the third installment of the saga, and ultimately a prequel to the first, and far from being totally continuous, it evolves to offer us a less classic visual aspect and playable mechanics. Despite the fact that the developer has never hidden its inspiration from The Legend of Zelda saga, on this occasion and despite continuing to be present, Oceanhorn 2 takes from here and there and builds its own identity by giving a modest product in terms of value of production but it works quite well and will give us a good handful of hours of fun.

75 / 100 - Exoprimal
Jul 17, 2023

Exoprimal is a good game, which complies in its technical and playable sections, although it is perhaps guilty of having (for now at least) little variety in its playable proposal. Although it is a fun game, in the world of online games of this type, it takes more to stand out, and the starting price can be an obstacle for people to give it a try if they do not trust its success, otherwise which depends on whether it continues to be playable and the servers are not closed or empty, turning it, as has happened on too many occasions, into a €60 coaster. A complete story mode that can be enjoyed solo or cooperatively would have definitely convinced, but only with what offers, raises many doubts.

75 / 100 - Redfall
May 2, 2023

Redfall will surely not go down in the annals of Arkane Studios great works, nor will it become a console seller. It seems, in fact, a video game typical of more modest companies with errors and lack of optimization more typical of small independent companies. Beyond this, Redfall can give us hours of fun. The setting is attractive and the game can shine at times, even if it doesn't stand out in any particular way.

The guys from Digital Sun show us that Moonlighter was not a flash in the pan and with this The Mageseeker they bring us another quite enjoyable product that will also delight lovers of the League of Legends universe. Although those who are not fans of this universe will miss a greater ambition in the project, the truth is that it is a very enjoyable product independently and accessible to all types of audiences.

75 / 100 - Mato Anomalies
Mar 10, 2023

Mato Anomalies brings us a well-measured mix of genres, without much fanfare, but showing correctness in all the aspects it shows, resulting in a very enjoyable game as long as we like visual novels and Japanese-style role-playing games. It won't change our lives but it will give us a good handful of hours of entertainment.
