9 / 10.0 - CARRION
Jul 23, 2020

CARRION is a masterful experience in reverse horror where you play as the monster and ultimately a threat to humanity. The story is simple yet intense, the gameplay is loads of fun despite its quirkiness at times, and sound and visuals are top-notch, and I am finding it rather difficult to not recommend this game. With 2020 going the way it is, now is the time to cheer for the monster.

8.8 / 10.0 - Jet Lancer
Jul 1, 2020

Jet Lancer is a fantastic and unique shoot-em-up that will wow its audience with stellar gameplay and amazing boss fights. The soundtrack rocks, and the visuals are a site to see. Although the price is a bit high for the amount of time you get, you are still getting one of the best shoot-em-ups out there, and I cannot recommend Jet Lancer enough.

8.4 / 10.0 - Locomotion
Jul 18, 2020

Locomotion is a top-notch 3D puzzle game that obviously borrows from great games before but also does its own thing in a unique and beautiful way. This is a wonderful first entry to a series I expect to continue moving forward. Polyfox, Locomotion 2 better be in the works, ya hear?!

8 / 10.0 - Singled Out
Jul 2, 2020

Singled Out is a fun arcade game from a one-man team. The gameplay is engaging, fun, and creative, and the look and sound of the game are unique and charming. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and my only complaint is a lack of multiplayer. Make it happen, Matt Glanville!

8 / 10.0 - Skully
Aug 4, 2020

Skully is basically two games in one, where one of the games shines brighter than the other. Despite that, the game still tells an incredibly complex story in a fun and whimsical way. The characters are all great, and the journey to the end is one worth taking. For the Switch version, you will just need to look past some of the blemishes as you make your way through.

Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio is a bizarre puzzle platformer that will entertain for a while, and it does so while looking and feeling incredibly like an NES title... even to the point where it is problematic.

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is a lovely remake of the original and something fans will be really excited about. Despite its flaws, it is sill a lot of fun to play and will provide loads of entertainment for families who enjoy the yellow and porous mascot.

7 / 10.0 - Cubicity
Jul 28, 2020

Cubicity is a fun little romp in 3D puzzling that will entertain its players for quite some time. The puzzles may not be the most challenging, and the lack of touch controls on Switch is a bit disappointing, but there is a lot of game here for a very generous price. If you enjoy puzzling on your Switch, this is definitely one to check out.
