Overall, Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is a great game. In addition to bringing together a select cast from the franchise, it features a well-crafted production, a large amount of content, and enjoyable gameplay. Unfortunately, issues such as the lack of a proper introduction to the dense world of SAO make it difficult for the game to appeal to a wider audience. This is a recommendation for fans of the series, anime in general, and anyone who enjoys a beautiful and light fantasy experience.

What we have in Predator: Hunting Grounds even provides some fun, such as explorations in search of valuable resources, joint attacks against the Predator (until the almost inevitable defeat) or reviving defeated colleagues. The alien hunter offers more, with even Mortal Kombat-style fatalities. It's a shame that you have to put up with an exaggerated asymmetry, which will lead to few cool matches amidst several annoyances.

On paper, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions seemed like a great idea. In practice, it's just ok: on the one hand, we have a well-crafted production, lots of references to the franchise and robust gameplay; on the other, the amount of different things to do is small, as are the rewards for continuing playing. Unless the game receives interesting future updates, it's only recommended for ardent fans of the series or those who really enjoyed the idea of playing ball with broomsticks.

Offering a good dose of action in an original universe, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II manages to deliver a great experience. The beautiful visuals combine well with the setting, so that the battles are exciting and complete, especially alongside friends. It's a shame that more care was needed in some specific points, but nothing that compromises this great game, especially for fans of the brand or lovers of the genre.

Considering the success of the series in the whole world, it's curious that only now Fate/Stay Night Remastered brings to the west the visual novel that kickstarted the franchise. Be it as it may, the important part is that we finally can enjoy this incredible story, with its unique universe and captivating characters. Though the additions to the new version could have been more significant, it continues to be practically a must in the library of anyone who enjoys big adventures, even being an entry point to the genre.

Monster Jam Showdown is a small improvement over its predecessor. The visuals are now more polished, as is the overall presentation of the game. Add to that the varied and numerous challenges, the great soundtrack and the multiplayer features, and we have an interesting game. It has some issues, especially regarding the occasional instability in driving, but it is still a good option for everyone's library.

With a simple, accessible, and competent concept, House of Golf 2 delivers a fun experience. Unfortunately, this fun lasts only a few hours, especially if it's not enjoyed with friends. Though the domestic fields are captivating, the game as a whole needed more in the way of game modes, rewards and personality. I recommend it for golf fans and players looking for an interesting experience but that should be enjoyed moderately.

Don't let Cat Quest III's cute presentation put you off: it manages to combine a colorful and fun production with an interesting pirate story, lots of cool surprises and top-notch gameplay. The only limitation to the game is the length of its adventure, which, although intense and charming, is very short. Who knows, future updates may bring more content so we can enjoy this captivating world even more.

At first listen, Disaster Band seems like a great rhythm game. With a funny and original idea, the first few games are fun enough. The problem is that this irreverence can get a little annoying over time. The dependence on online modes to enhance the gameplay – to find players and new songs – is, to say the least, a risky bet. This is a suggestion for fans of the musical genre who are willing to face all these difficulties.

The best iteration of the franchise in the world of strategy games, Metal Slug Attack Reloaded arrives with lots of action and game options. The traditional production with charismatic visuals and hilarious sound effects is present, making use of the entire history of the franchise to offer a lot of content. It's a shame that the title wasn't able to completely eliminate some of the negative points arising from its origins. Even so, it is worth recommending to tower defense fans and, above all, lovers of this beloved series.

To the delight of PlayStation 5 owners, V Rising arrived in all its bloodthirsty glory. More than a fun game with well-balanced difficulty, we have an adventure through a vast world full of interesting things to do. Highlights include combat with customizable skills and a robust construction system. In short, another great suggestion for any library.

With simple but demanding gameplay, BIT.TRIP RERUNNER is one of those games that makes you want to play “just one more time” several times. Integrating many possibilities into the runner genre, including rhythmic and action elements, the stages are fun and challenging. To top it off, the level creation and sharing mode brings even more life to the game.

With an unusual proposal, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is a fun asymmetrical multiplayer game. The levels of action and strategy are balanced, providing competitive matches, although very dependent on the other players in the room. The fight between clowns and humans could also have provided more game options, but at least what we have available is a great choice for fans of competitive and different titles.

Among so many strong competitors, XDefiant emerges as a new free FPS option. Making clever use of famous brands, the game offers fun and competitive gunfights across interesting factions and maps. The gameplay is solid and the production is competent, especially for a recently released title. I hope the game fixes its problems in future updates and makes good use of its great future potential.

Using a recognizable theme, Manic Mechanics turns the work at a car repair shop into a fun experience. With simple mechanics, the title manages to offer balanced challenges in which players must fix engines, paint airfoils, and make electronic chips, all of it to repair vehicles and get the highest score. Even if it has a few issues, especially when it comes to online matches, it's still a good option for your library."

Though a rerelease can be a good opportunity for old games to come back, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The princess from another world isn't one of the best examples. It may even have some positive points, like the visuals and emulation resources, but the original game is so limited that the novelties aren't enough. I recommend it to the fans of the franchise and/or platformers, as well as trophy hunters.

Offering a refreshing take on the classic character, PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle Chomp Champs is a fun game with just the right amount of competitiveness. Unfortunately, its potential is undermined by poor online performance, in addition to little attention directed to production and content. Still, we have a solid battle royale with some potential to become interesting beyond fans of the classic franchise.

Delivering everything it promised – and even more than that –, Stellar Blade is certainly one of the best titles of the year. With beautiful visuals and smooth performance, the combats and explorations of the beautiful Eve become incredible experiences. The game has a balanced level of difficulty, offering exciting and addictive fights, but without forgetting to offer puzzles and other interesting variations in gameplay. In short, a mandatory choice for the library of PlayStation 5 owners.

Despite all its qualities, that include a competent production, solid gameplay, and fun possibilities during combat, Isonzo suffers with big issues. Besides the wasted potential in not offering a campaign mode, the focus on online matches highlights connection issues and the necessity of making rooms. There is definitely a lot of entertainment on top of this FPS but only for those willing to climb a steep mountain.

After many hours playing The Rise of Ronin, it is undeniable that it bears many similarities to titles such as Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and Nioh. It may be inferior to them in certain aspects, but it also surpasses its peers in several aspects. More than that, it offers an original and rich experience, full of unique and competent elements. Not only is the adventure engaging, but it can be shaped according to the player's decisions. The gameplay is even more flexible and satisfying, with many types of weapons, combos, projectiles, items and equipment to obtain and master, all of them well implemented. There are many activities to entertain yourself, from photography to hunting powerful bandits. The few flaws are (far) outweighed by the positive qualities, making the title a practically mandatory addition to your gaming library.
