Expertly tuned controls mixed with exploring a thought-provoking, tear-jerking and hilarious story of family and loss make Another Fisherman's Tale a must-play title.

7.5 / 10.0 - Miasma Chronicles
May 22, 2023

Miasma Chronicles brings some solid evolution to the turn-based strategy genre. While making itself approachable to newcomers and fans alike. The gameplay is really good, but the story is, for the most part, forgettable.

Farworld Pioneers has a long way to go to set itself apart from its predecessors. So many moving systems make the cracks from pretty early on in this Starbound, Terraria-like.

Company of Heroes 3 on PS5 is not an ideal way to play this fantastic series. While it manages to keep the gusto of the series alive, fighting with the controls just makes the overall experience a pain.

Even though I'm not the biggest Star Trek fan, Resurgence did a great job of getting me interested in the world and lore.

Escape From The Past is a great addition to an already great game. Muddled down by some difficulty curves, but the grand finale is a spectacle to behold.

For the hardcore turn-based tactics fans, Jagged Alliance 3 takes the series in a great direction. Unfortunately, there is really no onboarding before the difficulty takes a steep leap.

Lisa: Definitive Edition is an amazing RPG, that melds the cute and oddness of Earthbound but interjects incredible mature themes. It may even be too dark for some.

Stray Gods felt like it was made for me. If you love musicals in the rock opera genre, then dive in immediately as there is a story full of emotion and fantastic music waiting for you.

4 / 10.0 - Atlas Fallen
Aug 9, 2023

Atlas Fallen is a hard game to recommend. Between janky controls and a really rough-feeling platforming system, it feels like it fights you every step of the way.

9 / 10.0 - Mortal Kombat 1
Sep 13, 2023

Mortal Kombat 1 is an excellent entry point for new comers and returning fans. It outshines every previous Mortal Kombat in almost every way, with intuitive controls and interesting modes. NetherRealm cranks the gore up to 11 and I cant wait to see what else they have in store for us.

Overall, Hellsweeper VR was a big disappointment. Between cumbersome controls and some obnoxious grinding there is little to enjoy in Hellsweeper VR.

Overall, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is exactly what CDProjekt Red promised three years ago. An awesome adventure in a cyberpunk world that feels alive. Between a great story and massive changes to core systems Cyberpunk 2077 is finally a very good game.

6 / 10.0 - Harvest Island
Oct 10, 2023

Harvest Island is too drawn out in its game mechanics to make for a relaxing farm sim, and with so many other options out there its better to scratch that itch elsewhere.

Overall, Hot Wheels Unleased 2: Turbocharged builds on the solid foundation of the first game by adding new vehicles, tracks and more importantly new race modes. While the story is bland and forgettable, the gameplay is too much fun for it to hold it back too much.

Tribe: Primitive Builder is a bland builder at best. The story does nothing but bog down the building mechanics, and even then, they are not presented in a way that is appealing.
