I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine is a great VR experience. It's incredibly tactile while still remaining convenient and easy to play. However, having to repeat the same parts of levels over and over to progress can get very frustrating.

While fun, challenging, and hilarious, I Expect You To Die 3 is unfortunately not perfect. The loading times could be better, and there was the occasional stutter despite it being natively on the Meta Quest 2. But that's about it! I had a blast playing it, and I really look forward to I Expect You To Die returning.

I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine really hammers home just how great this series is and that there is still so much they can do with the formula. It’s the third game in and not a single aspect feels repetitive, stale, or tedious. Schell Games continues to push themselves and the series forward with great new ideas, more demanding puzzles, and better visuals.
