Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is a fabulous title, filled with all the beats and quirks expected from a great JRPG. The story is fabulous and the characters, both new and returning, are interesting. The customization options of the combat mean anyone can enjoy the game. From the newest of newbies all the way to combat-hardened JRPG vets that want a massive challenge. Overall, I would recommend Ys IX: Monstrum Nox to anyone who loves JRPGs or adventure anime, along with all of the other Ys titles as well.

I adore this game. It’s so much fun and has tons of replayability. If you like rogue-likes or dungeon crawlers and D&D-like settings, you cannot go wrong with Rogue Wizards.

I love this game. I love it so much that I just finished it and I can’t wait to play it again. There is nothing about this game that I would change, and I am honoured to have been able to not only play this amazing story but also to have reviewed it. This title absolutely earned its two thumbs up.

I love this game. I love TOEM so much. It’s sweet, adorable, funny and full of fun and interesting NPCs to meet and take photos of. The world may be in black and white, but it’s lovingly detailed and wonderfully rendered. The music is wonderful and there are a lot of thoughtful details to make players love it even more. Two thumbs up for TOEM!

If there is nothing you can think of that’s wrong with a game except that it’s too short, then that’s probably a really good game. It’s worth the $8 USD, even with the short length. I had a lot of fun playing this short romp through a pencilled-in world, and I think anyone who likes chill meditative titles will also dig A Winding Path as well.

If you like relaxing platformers, this is a great game to pick up. I really don’t have any complaints about this title; it’s filled with charm, great puzzles, and the world’s cutest little robot friend. The music, the world, and the environmental clues make for a wonderful game.

For a farming simulation, there is a lot going on in this game. In spite of a few shortcomings, it’s one of my favorite games that I have ever played. I love just about every aspect of this game, and the additions after the full release have been great. There is also a plan for more content to come; a recent post on Steam says that fishing will be added to No Place Like Home soon!

Loved - Kinoko
May 25, 2022

Initially, Kinoko was super frustrating without the controller, but once I got up off my lazy butt and went digging for a controller I could plug in, everything went really smoothly. I love every inch of this game, and I look forward to more from this studio. Also, this game is free! Play it, get friends to play it, and indulge in a little bit of calming slowness in a too-fast, too-hectic world.

Karambola is also a free-to-play game, so everyone out there who loves short, emotional journeys should definitely pick this one up; you have nothing to lose but a little bit of time in the weirdest, most wonderful little fruit-based world ever seen before. Karambola in short is the strange, wild, and wonderful world that I didn’t know I wanted.

This cat game is cheap, simple, fun, and accessible. I don’t know how to love this game enough. My major complaint about Ever Seen A Cat? 2 is that it’s too short, but it could have been thousands of levels long and I still would have wanted more. And if that’s the only complaint about a game, I think it deserves two thumbs up!

WoMen in Science let’s you play the game you want to play. And I’m a big fan. The game has its issues; for example, the skill tree is a little bit lacking in explanations for how to get and use all of it, but WoMen in Science is still in early access. The bones that this game has built though are fantastic, and I can’t wait to see more.

I love this game so much. I know that it’s challenging and has a couple of problems, but I can’t sing the praises of Dorfromantik enough. Additionally, I would recommend this game to almost anyone, and I am happy that they created a wonderful port for the Nintendo Switch

I love this game. It’s deeply British in a very funny way. It makes fun of Great British Baking Show. It has a joke about how the local fair successfully “installed the rain” just over its location and nowhere else. There are weird puzzles with fun locations. Everything I love about Sierra games is in here, and the devs didn’t include all the stuff people don’t like about them. Overall, I can’t say too much more without spoiling the whole thing, but if you love point-and-click, Lucy Dreaming is a game you cannot miss.

I love Lost Amulets: Four Guardians a lot. It has a couple of little things that bug me. But overall, they were so small that they didn’t ruin the enjoyment of this title. If you love hidden object puzzles, matching puzzles, and others, you will almost be guaranteed to love this game. For only $5, it’s hard to pass up such a wonderful, polished puzzle game to add to your Steam library.

Lil Gator Game, along with the host of other cozy indie games I’ve played and loved, are unique and special experiences that I’m glad I got to have. It’s so wonderful that finally gamers who don’t like a lot of the elements of AAA games can have a little piece of relaxing wonderful like Lil Gator Game and similar. I am so happy that indie games are much more able to reach audiences because my inner child was absolutely enthralled. While it’s a shame something so wonderful as this couldn’t have existed 20 years ago, indie developers are certainly making up for it now by releasing amazing, beautiful, wholesome, adorable, and nearly perfect games like this as passion projects. There is a lot of love in Lil Gator Game, and I can’t wait to see what this dev has in store for us next.

I love the music, the look, the vibe, the simplicity, the anime girls and boys you can flirt with, the addition of LGBTQ+ couples, the battles, the removal of the weird marriage system, and the return of old Fire Emblem characters… Everything. Especially my Sommie, the cutest little anime mascot ever.

I can’t say enough how much I adore this game. It’s warm, it’s weird, it’s beautiful, it’s lonely, it’s full of emotion, connection, and what change is for us all as humans. In the same way, we crave change while we are afraid of it, Season: A Letter to the Future will be both a warm hug and some cold reality, a home and a strange land, and a joy as well as a heartache.

I was so sad when it ended. I remember watching the final cutscene come up and having this massive feeling of sadness overcome me. Was it already over? Really? I could have played a million more hours of Dawngrown and not been happy that it ended. It is too fun, too polished, too cute. Play this game. Just do it. If enough people play and love this game, maybe we’ll get some more content. Fingers crossed!

Do you like corgis and challenging puzzles? Do you want to clone a cute dog and solve those puzzles with those cute clones? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then yes, you should get Corgi Cove. It’s sweet, it’s simple, it’s adorable, and it’s fun to play. Additionally, I had a lot of fun during my time with Corgi Cove. Any puzzle lover can enjoy this little title for a fairly cheap price. I give it a hearty two thumbs up, and I think you will too.

I am absolutely delighted with Duplicado. I can’t think of a little game that is more beautifully rendered, more endearing or more replayable than this. Such a simple concept, but the developers have polished it to the point that it feels like a high-end game. I cannot overstate how much I love Duplicado, and I think just about anyone who loves puzzle games will find more than $3’s worth of enjoyment in the hours lost to this amazing little title.
