Call of the Elder Gods blends Lovecraftian atmosphere with the spirit of an Indiana Jones-style adventure surprisingly well, offering strong characters, excellent voice acting, memorable locations, and several cleverly designed puzzles. A stereotypical villain, occasional animation issues, and one weaker puzzle hold it back slightly, but its strengths still easily outweigh its flaws.

Its quest structure can occasionally make you feel like an errand runner, and one hide-and-seek side activity drags more than it should, but the overall journey remains heartfelt, cozy, and easy to recommend for both Moomin fans and newcomers.

Total Chaos is one of the most intense horror games I’ve had the chance to play in a very long time. The atmosphere is incredibly strong, the enemies are creative and unsettling, and the survival elements are implemented exceptionally well. If you’re not easily scared and believe you can make your way through Fort Oasis and overcome all of its challenges, I definitely recommend giving this game a try.
