The Posthumous Investigation is an atmospheric noir adventure with a striking black-and-white style, a strong sense of place, well-written characters, and an intriguing time-loop mystery. Its lack of a clear resolution, weaker minigames, and a few underused locations may disappoint players expecting a classic detective payoff, but with the right mindset, its unusual approach can make the experience even more memorable.
