Oxenfree II: Lost Signals does its job well when it comes to creating a mysterious ambiance, graphics and sound included, and capturing the player's attention to solve its mysteries. The downside is that its gameplay often feels too repetitive and monotonous, and a big part of its dialogue lines are uninteresting, which is unfortunate for a game that makes use of a lot of exchanges the main characters. In the end, the experience is a lot more linear than thought, but all this doesn't mean Oxenfree II cannot be enjoyed by fans of plot-driven narrative experiences with a taste for the supernatural.

7 / 10 - Teslagrad 2
Jul 12, 2023

Richly decorated and full of detail, Teslagrad 2 goes for a minimal narrative approach, using no text whatsoever, but there's no instance where players are going to notice the absence of words. What could have gone better, however, is the combat system - or rather, the lack thereof, as Teslagrad 2 relies entirely on quick non-combat moves from its protagonist, which works good most of the time, but it could have been worked differently when it comes to the game's combat, especially the boss fights.

In this unusual take to stealth action, the players will have to clean up crime scenes after the gruesome actions occur but before the law can catch them. With its marvelous art style and sountrack, and an accessible and fun experience, Serial Cleaners' biggest flaws are its rather easy difficulty for experienced players and repetitiveness that settles in after a couple of hours, but which can be averted by playing in short sessions.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments brings the world's most famous detective to the Nintendo Switch in an enveloping, thrilling game that gives the player a great amount of freedom to set out, gather elements and solve the cases at hand.
