KEY FEATURES NERVE is an abstract arcade racing game focused on progression and that “just one more go” mentality featuring: An enthralling audio visual experience Full 10 Chapter Campaign 10 end of Chapter Gate Keeper boss battles Freeplay world select mode with global leader boards Hurtle through beautiful unforgiving worlds, where every frame is enthralling, every moment is exhilarating, every death is deserved, and every success is earned. You are a vessel locked on a path to your fate. You will travel through beautiful and terrifying worlds where everything is trying to stop you. Like time, you can never stop. When you die, you will be reincarnated as a new vessel. This is your fate and you are bound to it. CONQUER THE CAMPAIGN As you race towards your fate, you will travel through 10 corrupted Worlds, each ending with a battle against a Gate Keeper. Gate Keepers block you from continuing along your path and must be defeated by creatively using the mechanics of their World against them. DOMINATE THE LEADERBOARDS Each World has a global leaderboard scoring system so players can see how they fair against their friends, and the world.

Nerve Critic Reviews

A small helping of issues are not enough to derail Nerve, though they do keep it from greatness. What's on offer is worth playing if you're a fan of games that encourage "one more attempt", though there will be moments you'll walk away more annoyed than satisfied. The lurid, psychedelic art style and pumping soundtrack nearly elevate Nerve to similar heights as its inspirations, but it'll need a little more tuning under the hood before it reaches those same lofty precipices.

Though there's little rhyme or reason for the imitation on visual detail, NERVE still provides a satisfying-to-conquer sprint through the multi-colored void that is its setting.

Nerve has some interesting ideas, but its admittedly unique mix of roguelike elements, speed, and strategy doesn't always produce satisfying results.
