Critic Reviews for Lemnis Gate
With its well executed timeloop concept, Lemnis Gate could be the sleeper shooter of 2021.
Lemnis Gate's incredibly innovative turn-based FPS concept makes it something truly unique and the potential sleeper hit of the year.
Lemnis Gate compensates for his lack of personality with an interesting basic idea, in a shooter where strategy plays a fundamental role.

Lemnis Gate is intoxicating. Lemnis Gate is excruciating. Lemnis Gate is both these things. It's also a unique, compelling, strategic shooter, but one that might be too far ahead of its time.
Lemnis Gate is a game at odds with itself. Its well-executed time loop mechanics could potentially appeal beyond the usual hardcore shooter crowd, but the game's matchmaking shortcomings and lack of single-player content will keep that wider audience at arm's length. Lemnis Gate is fun, but it feels like a concept that needed more resources to fully realize its promise. That said, if you are a dedicated shooter fan looking for something a little different, you may find yourself doing the time warp again (and again and again).
Overall, Lemnis Gate brings a lot of innovation to the table, surpassing its time travel rival to present a strategic FPS that's well worth some attention. While held back by a lack of modes outside of online multiplayer and an outdated presentation, launching on the hugely successful Xbox Game Pass service makes the game palatable to those with an existing subscription. Whether it's jumping into an online lobby or gathering a group of friends for private matchmaking, there's nothing else quite like Lemnis Gate on console, and it's well worth a look for anyone who wants to see one possible future of the FPS genre.
Lemnis Gate is a different multiplayer shooter, and as such, everyone may not like it for having something atypical and that at first seems complicated. Personally, I think you should give it a try and try if you really like it. In addition, its inclusion in the well-known Xbox Game Pass service, makes it easier to find out if we are really interested. This impressive service gives us the opportunity to try games without any fear, because if you do not like it you delete it and try another.

Lemnis Gate gets a lot right when all the stars align and you're able to get into the game without a hitch. However, at least on PS5, the game has quite a few hiccups that prevent the player from ever reaching the fun twist on your run of the mill shooter.
