If you like 3D platformers and are up for a challenge, Super Sami Roll is a must. It's a joy to play over and over again as you hunt for collectibles, shortcuts, and a personal best speedrun time. It's one of the most refreshingly addictive and exciting 3D platformers to release in the last few years. Behind strong level design, smooth and expansive controls, and loads of unlockable content, Super Sami Roll is a gift that keeps on giving.

Super Sami Roll is a cute and fiendishly difficult platformer that genre fans who love a challenge will relish. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more casual and laidback collect-a-thon then you'll likely end up feeling too defeated to continue playing it.

Super Sami Roll has all the right ingredients for a winning product. For gamers with the time and patience to adapt to the control scheme will probably discover a challenging and rewarding experience. But for the more casual fans or those looking to blow off steam after a hard day at work, the frustration might just be too much to see it through. I like what Super Sami Roll is trying to achieve. I loved the graphics and general design of the game. It just didn’t really click with me in its current state.
