Critic Reviews for Turbo Golf Racing
If you're looking for a brief distraction, Turbo Golf Racing delivers a sizeable amount of fun in an admittedly slim package.
Turbo Golf Racing from Hugecalf Studios is an entertaining party game with cool art and fun power-ups, but its short matches and similarities to other kart racers might hinder its longevity.
Turbo Golf Racing is the most entertaining online multiplayer game we've played for a long while, turning golf into an exhilarating fast-paced sport played with vehicles. Its single-player time trial mode complete with leaderboards proves to be an enjoyable time sink, too.
Turbo Golf Racing is fun, and if you’re familiar with Rocket League, you’ll feel right at home. But after a while, it gets repetitive; the game only holds my attention for a few games, and I don’t think playing with my friends will change that.
Turbo Golf Racing is yet another fun and frantic online vehicle-based sports game that offers plenty of excellent competitive action.
Turbo Golf Racing is a great racing game and an all right golfing experience. It’s got an appealing visual style and music and it’s a casual title that’s easy to pick up and play but it’s also hard to master. There’s lots of customisation you can unlock to stand out of the crowd, no matter the playstyle. If RC cars and balls appeal to you, this game is for you. It’s on Game Pass and has crossplay enabled.
Turbo Golf Racing has satisfying ideas, but it’s hardly revolutionary, and the execution of its mechanics isn’t always up to par. The art design is colorful, most of the courses are interesting, and the pacing is fun. Sadly, the physics and controls can be a mess sometimes. This title offers just enough content and chaotic fun to balance that out, resulting in an enjoyable yet average experience.
At present Turbo Golf Racing is an absurdly enjoyable multiplayer title that enthusiastically positions itself as far more than a mere Rocket League knock-off (Early Access review).
