Critic Reviews for Neon Blight
Neon Blight has a clear gameplay loop that can become addictive. Kill enemies, explore the wilderness, make progress on some quests, find guns, take them back to the store and see who wants to pay to become the new owners. More depth would have been appreciated but the game mechanics mostly work as they should.
Neon Blight you have very good ideas on paper, but not all the works can be perfect, in this case, its good decisions in the design are overshadowed by its multiple errors in the technical and sound part, being a game that is not recommended by now, only the future will be able to tell us if the title improves and is allowed to play.

I wanna root for this game so that it’ll have more content in the future but at the state of this build, I can’t really see any longevity when it comes to replayability. You can get bored once you’ve collected the weapons and cleared all the bosses. It’s probably a good top-down shooter game if you want to get introduced to a less stressful version of bullet hell. There are plenty of better ones in the market and this game may still have a long way to go.
The game's concept and setting - a resistence running a gun shop in the dystopian cyberpunk world - were interesting. On the other hand, the shooting part is boring and store managing part is as lifeless as an empty can. Lastly, it is almost impossible to believe that the game is officially released because of so many bugs. It even made me feel like I paid to become a QA.

Neon Blight is a game with good ideas, but it wanted too much and in the end didn't achieve much.

I cannot recommend this game in its current state and do not want to let it slide that this game released in a very buggy and incomplete condition, but I want to believe in developers. I've seen many games surprise with their growth years after launch and I want to believe that Bleeding Tapes is capable of doing just that. I want to believe that the team believes in Neon Blight, and so I'll leave my thoughts here and hope the team takes something away from this feedback. Bleeding Tapes, there is a lot of work ahead of you, but your output since launch shows you're more than ready to face that challenge.
