Lies of P is the best soulslike I've tried. Its world is intriguing and layered, its combat challenging and satisfying, and its story captures and moves you.

Despite its tragic departure, Payday 3 proves to be a worthy sequel that adds enough to be a good foundation for what's to come.

Too much continuity with the previous one, and the gameplay has innovated just enough, in the mini-games and little else. It will continue to be a title that will touch the hearts of fans, but as a video game in general, without being bad, it doesn't provide much more than a few hours of entertainment.

King's Bounty II fails in the exposition of its story and the introduction of an open world that is too conventional, both aesthetically and mechanically. On the other hand, its most fundamental premise, its stupendous turn-based combat, works perfectly.

Rune Factory 3 Special brings back a cult game from the Nintendo DS era. However, it does very little to bring it up to speed with respect to the sequels that have been coming out beyond the graphical section.

Punch-Out in space, and instead of Mike Tyson you're up against a bunch of gym-loving aliens. As an homage, it's entertaining and looks unabashedly good, though I was aiming even higher.
