Shadow Warrior 3 Definitive Edition Reviews
Shadow Warrior 3 does little to reinvigorate the Shadow Warrior series. A scant campaign, downright bad narrative, obnoxious voice acting, and generally derivative new gameplay mechanics do little to set this entry apart from other FPS titles. However, combat is, as always, incredibly satisfying, and probably worth enjoying at least once.
Overall though I continue to find the Shadow Warrior games a lot of fun… it's nice to have a different main character to the muscle bound blond balls of brawn we are usually provided. Lo Wang is the hero we don't deserve… but he's all we've got… and it's a lot of fun playing as him.
I can't judge Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition on how well it matches up with its predecessors. What I can do, however, is judge Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition on how much fun it is -- and by that metric, I can't imagine a more enjoyable game.
Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition is a high-intensity first-person shooter that also focuses on comedy and creating a personality for the main character. While I have not played either of the previous titles, I was excited about the release of this game, and am incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to review it. Did the game live up to my hopes? Find out in this Rapid Review.
