Critic Reviews for Omega Strikers
Omega Strikers smashes air hockey and MOBA elements together beautifully, and is the most fun I've had with multiplayer all year.
Those looking for a new free-to-play activity to add to their list can certainly do worse than Omega Strikers. It may not bring anything revolutionary to the table, but it's enough of a good time that it's worth a few pick-up rounds, especially given its availability across numerous platforms.
Overall, Omega Strikers is a good recommendation if you are looking for a game to help you pass the time. Its gameplay loop is easy to get into yet tough to master if you wish to take it seriously. The game has done its job of supporting various content creators like Alpharad and Cr1TiKaL through emotes and specialized teams that players can "contribute" toward with wins, so I believe the game will have a good scene for some time.
All in all, I like Omega Strikers. I wish it would let me unlock characters faster and let me play against humans, but maybe it’s a good thing, as I can continuously inflate my ego dunking on bots that are just stumbling around the field.
Omega Strikers always has you thinking “just one more match” before sucking you in for countless more hours. At the low, low price of free-to-play, it is a minimal investment for potentially big fun.
This free-to-play 3-on-3 sports brawler has an interesting idea behind it, but typical play commonly devolves quickly
Omega Strikers is a great time. Its wide variety of characters and playstyles, alongside the polish of its general gameplay loop, are all extremely well crafted and full of polish. Despite the slow start and lag, coupled with frequent disconnections on mobile and a clunky UX on Switch, the quality of the game itself shines past these issues. The love that has been put into the game will likely keep me playing for a long time to come.
