CounterAttack: Uprising Reviews
There are even level and campaign editors for the creatively inclined. The aesthetic, including the level design and the art style, wasn't overly appealing to me, but my son and I still had a wonderful time trying to see how far we could get across the different game modes. While it's not quite in must-play territory, CounterAttack is well worth a look for fans of the genre, particularly those who embrace playing starship mechanic.
I had a good time with CounterAttack: Uprising and am looking forward to seeing it evolve as the developers work more of its kinks out. 💥
CounterAttack may not be a game that will score points for its outstanding visuals or its variety of enemies. However, it is a shoot 'em up that can appeal to the broadest possible audience and scores particularly well due to its enormous scope and replay value. Anyone who wants to unlock all possible upgrades for their ship will certainly be busy for a long time. The story mode, whose levels can be played as desired, as well as the survival mode, where you can chase the high score, invites you to do this. But it only really gets fun when you join the game with friends and compete against the Automatons either locally or across systems in the online mode. In any case, it's definitely a title that every shooting fan should take a closer look at.
