Final Fantasy XVI: Echoes of the Fallen Reviews
Echoes of the Fallen, the first expansion for Final Fantasy XVI, extends the main story with a new quest and enriches gameplay, but its short duration and segmented narrative set the stage for the more anticipated expansion, The Rising Tide.
If what you wanted was another excuse to revisit Final Fantasy 16 outside its New Game+ and Arcade Mode, I feel this is a solid reason to return to its world.
Echoes of the Fallen offers a rather short, crisp extra mission shortly before the end of the main game. With too little story, but several really great boss fights and one of the most impressive final bosses in the game, it's definitely worth a look for fans who still lack blood on Clive's blade.

Final Fantasy XVI: Echoes of the Fallen delivers beautiful scenes and incredible action but falters a bit with an anticlimactic ending. There is plenty to enjoy for fans of the main game, but the lack of a great ending means it fails to live up to the lofty expectations set by the main game.
