Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon Reviews
Rite Of the Shrouded Moon is a quiet, careful joy, spinning an impressive tapestry out of relatively few threads.
I'm sure some players will be more involved with achieving high scores and climbing up the leaderboards than trying to solve riddles and look for clues. Either way you choose to play, it's still a great game.
Played at the right time in the evening, you'll get the right mix of dark visuals blending in with the beautiful, contemplative soundtrack that accompanies the game… it makes being a little spider feel like an existential, out-of-body trip
I had a lot of fun playing the game for my Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon review. The fun gameplay mechanics, gorgeous locations, and varied content grabbed my attention from start to finish. Kudos to the team for giving us a great PS4 game. I look forward to seeing what they're working on for their next project!
The game is simple and fun and can pose a challenge to anyone who wants to find everything in the game. The developers had some really good ideas with the moon phases and to use real world time and weather. I think in the context of a more in-depth and purposeful game, that kind of feature would be distinctive and potent. Hopefully some other developers were paying attention.
Oh, and if, for some reason, you are scared of spiders, don’t worry. You can play as a walrus.
