SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada Reviews
Synduality: Echo of Ada is a game that I had every reason to hate, since I don't like the extraction shooter genre. However, with an enjoyable mecha gameplay combined with a wide range of parts and weapons for different uses, the game creates a good mix even for those who aren't fans of the style.

"Synduality: Echo of Ada" is primarily impressive due to its gameplay loop, which has a real pull. Every trip is incredibly exciting, because you can never be sure what exactly awaits you and what will particularly bother you. Is it the caustic rain? Are they AI opponents or will other drifters overwhelm you?

Synduality: Echo of Ada suffers from uninspired gameplay, sluggish combat and a tedious progression system that fails to deliver the mech-shooter experience promised by its early trailers. While the visuals and performance on PS5 are fine, the lack of any engaging mechanics and frustrating systems make it extremely hard to recommend.
I ultimately have to wonder – with these flaws, will the playerbase stay big enough to give enough time for developers to fix what’s wrong, and perhaps make SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada truly one of the greats? As with a lot of game-as-a-service titles: time will tell.
I like Synduality Echoes of Ada, but it's also frustrating and barren. Its gameplay systems are tight and polished, but is that enough for an extraction shooter? When new games drop so frequently, you need to stand out, which Synduality Echo of Ada does with its aesthetic but little else, and it needs to bring more to the table to stand out.
SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada suffers from significant flaws. Depth in its combat mechanics is lacking, and too much of it is reduced to simple strategies. Its variety in both weapons and powers feels uncreative. The overall experience is a mixed one, one that will, perhaps, reward its fan base but will not work in creating a standout title in its field.
Synduality: Echo of Ada is a ton of fun but ultimately struggles to capitalise on the addictive and satisfying gameplay loop it has with a subdued story.
SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is a third-person, mech-based PvPvE with looter and extraction shooter elements. It does have potential, but it's sadly held back by a live service format and its monetization elements. Although there's fun to be had online, the game makes it a hassle to actually play with others, and the combat and gameplay loop can become repetitive.
