Everybody's Golf Hot Shots manages to deliver a very fun and challenging experience, with lots to do and unlock in the process. As a good entry point for newcomers to the franchise and to golf, the game also manages to deliver complexity and challenges for those who seek them. It's a game that seems to translate the sport very well, but also does a good job of turning it into a video game and focusing on fun and user experience in the first place.

Hell is Us reflects on violence and how its political use brings out the worst in people. As much as there are differences between these people, sometimes these differences are radicalized by political and economic interests. And although the game is filled with bizarre creatures that try to kill us all the time, it often asks us: who are the real monsters? What drives us to do things we never imagined we were capable of?

It's crazy to think that Too Kyo Games delivered two of the best games of the year in such a short period of time. Shuten Order pays homage to various adventure game genres, but it doesn't just rely on that to tell a great story about religion and fanaticism, packed with style and personality.

Artis Impact is a very authorial game. It's the kind of game where you notice that some things were done just because the developer thought it was cool. I particularly like this type of project. And although it has a few problems with the execution of its traditional systems, this is compensated for by its humorous story, which works very well even against a post-apocalyptic setting, and its art direction.

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily isn’t immune to some questionable design choices, such as the way it handles its narrative, but they result in far more hits than misses. If you're ready to be challenged and willing to use any means necessary to seek your revenge or, if you're a duchess with strong sapphic tendencies, this is a war worth fighting.

Wild Hearts S is a great “could be”, a product that wasn't and unfortunately, from the looks of it, won't be. Although it's fun, it lacks a lot to really become a viable product, something worth defending and continuing. Its release on the Nintendo Switch 2, more than anything, only emphasizes how sad it is that a game full of potential has wasted yet another chance to shine as it could.

In an era where the industry is trying to change the generation of consoles faster and faster, seeing a new title of such high quality being developed on hardware that is almost 40 years old makes us think about our relationship with video games and their predetermined obsolescence.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a great fresh start for the franchise. The game recaptures what made its predecessors special, but brings unique things to the table and stands on its own. I ended up fully satisfied with the game and with a taste for more.

Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact if it had more budget and more development time we could have a game that was really worth dedicating to, but the way it was released I really can't recommend it even to the biggest Hunter x Hunter fan, unfortunately they sold it with the wrong expectations.

Shadow Labyrinth shows that it's possible to explore classic franchises and create something new at the same time. Rather than playing it safe with a remaster of a title, Bandai Namco has taken a risk by completely reimagining one of gaming's most classic titles.

While it has excellent ideas, great character moments and the inclusion of escape rooms is extremely welcome, No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: The Somnium Files still leaves a bitter taste after its final stretch. And yet, even in the absence of its creator, it's still comforting to return to its world.

Mecha Break is a dream come true for many mecha fans, with amazing gameplay and an exciting variety of different robots and modes to play, we have here a very accessible game for those who enjoy competing along with a giant robot. Varying between an extraction mode and PvP combat, the game manages to deliver something of quality to different audiences. Unfortunately, as a GaaS, not only its quality is what matters for its success and the choices made regarding the game's progression and monetization will still have to be put to the test of time.

Arashi Gaiden is fun and challenging without becoming frustrating. The game is the result of years of perfecting the mechanics of previous Wired Dreams games, resulting in a game that is easy to learn but still challenges the player. Combined with this, the great artwork and animation in partnership with Statera Studio makes the game stand out and makes the experience even more enjoyable.

If you've always been curious to play the Patapon series but never had the chance to do so before, Patapon 1 + 2 Replay is certainly the ideal game for you to take your first steps in the series. With well-done graphics, the developers of this port have done a much better job than the remasters previously released on PS4. I had a lot of fun with the game, but I confess it's not the kind of game I'd want to buy right now, especially considering that I have no nostalgia for the original.

I ended up falling in love with Raidou all over again. Its 1930s aesthetic is stylish, the characters are simple but charismatic and the adventure is well-focused. I 'm looking forward to revisiting the second game and would be very happy to see Raidou 3 in the future.

Dune: Awakening is a very unique game that is unyielding in its intention to deliver on a very specific vision. The world is opressive, the systems are obtuse and the universe is extremely interesting, all things that made my time in Arrakis an unforgettable, if brutal, experience.

The Gex series is a record of a very fertile period in the industry. That fertility resulted in all kinds of ideas, some very interesting and others not so much. Gex brought strong influences from pop culture, cinema and TV to video games, being a pioneering game series for the convergence of these entertainment media with video games.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a game I found myself quite engaged with and ended up excited to play more. It's very easy to see why some people dislike it. Despite being soulslike, it doesn't have the same pace and demands as FromSoftware games. All that said, it's still a very fun game with some great group moments.

Onimusha 2 is a very fun game with some very unique and interesting elements, standing out even within its own franchise. It's not for everyone due to its quirks, but if you go into the game with open arms, those quirks can become a charm.

Narrative slip-ups and gameplay additions that don't have much effect don't prevent Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 from bringing the trilogy to a satisfactory close. It's a universe I've enjoyed following since its debut in 2021 and I haven't regretted it one bit.
