This is a confident noir point-and-click that excels in mood and world-building, even if it sometimes struggles to keep its focus.
Postmodern Adventures has once again delivered a true gem. Although this game isn’t without its flaws either, the excellent adventure and its overall presentation make it easy to be far more forgiving. In light of the absolutely terrific atmosphere, it’s painfully disappointing that the story’s ending feels rushed. Fans of classic adventure games should definitely take note, and for players who love Lovecraftian themes, it’s an outright must-play.
