EverSiege: Untold Ages strips away the ultra competitive aspects of a MOBA to create a solo or co-op game that feels nostalgic in a lot of ways. There's an awful lot to do here and loads of progression to unlock, which is always satisfying. I do hope they find a way to make the multiplayer feel more satisfying to share, and will be keeping an eye out for updates post-launch.

It thrives with experimentation, although it’s definitely complex and can deter some of the newcomers, especially in the few hours. The game’s core design is still compelling, and they do a very good job at creating a foundation for a new type of game here.

EverSiege: Untold Ages is a brutal and ambitious blend of MOBA-style hero control, tower defense strategy, and roguelite progression, where every victory feels earned through smart planning and quick reactions. Its deep build synergies, tense boss fights, and last-stand atmosphere are genuinely strong, but heavy performance drops, pathfinding glitches, and unforgiving solo difficulty make the defense of Bastion as frustrating as it is rewarding.

EverSiege could open the door to a very interesting RTS and MOBA hybrid, with strong length and audiovisual polish, but it needs to improve performance and multiplayer.

EverSiege: Untold Ages combines strategy, rogue-lite, tower defence and MOBA genres to offer an initially engaging and promising experience. However, its weak combat system, unbalanced progression structure and sense of repetition prevent it from fully realising this potential. With the right updates, it could reach a much higher standard, but for now it offers an average experience.
