Critic Reviews for K-pop Idol Stories: Road to Debut

I really enjoyed K-pop Idol Stories' glossy presentation and breezy introspection into the K-pop industry. There are better management and tycoon games out there, but if like me you're a little obsessed with K-culture, it's hard to look past this effort.

Wisageni Studio nails the visuals and soundtrack, capturing K-pop culture's vibe perfectly. The management systems, story, and dialogue show some weaknesses, though — activities and events repeat too often after a few hours, and choices offer limited variety. Still, the randomness gives the game solid replay value, especially since your decisions can lead to different endings. At €19.99, it's a solid package for anyone who enjoys visual novels and wants an easy entry into the management-sim genre.

Even though everything is in the right place, the bugs are unacceptable and can cost you your run. This undermines the game's potential; however, if these bugs are fixed, *K-pop Idol Stories: Road to Debut* is a must-play for anyone wanting to experience firsthand the dream of forming their own K-pop group—complete with blood, sweat, and tears.
