A highly recommended game for anyone who enjoys swashbuckling adventures set in a high-fantasy world. There’s plenty to read and lots of choices to make; the dice won’t always be in your favor, and you’ll often lose battles, but there’s no need to worry. As in any good gamebook, you can simply “rewind time” a little to return to an earlier point in the adventure and make a different decision.

As an avid fan of the written word, it was an enjoyable experience for me, but it does require a different mindset from the usual JRPG grind.
