Farming Camp Reviews
While far from perfect, and the variety comes up a bit lacking in length and depth due in part to its mini game-oriented style, it’s still has a refreshing approach
Farming Camp is not a classic farming simulation with a summer camp twist. The game is story-driven, using mini-games to give the player variety. While the characters are well-developed and have distinct personalities, I did not find the general tone of the narrative and language used to demonstrate the group dynamics enjoyable. If it wasn’t for the pleasurable aspects of the farming and mini-games, then Farming Camp might have received our lowest rating. If you are curious about the game, check out the demo on either the eShop or the Steam store.
Farming Camp wants to be your next cosy obsession and mostly succeeds, right up until its teenage campers start bickering like they wandered in from a nastier game.
More of a narrative adventure than a farming sim, Farming Camp certainly doesn’t revolutionise anything, but it does a pretty good job of what it sets out to do.

Farming Camp's strength lies in the story centered on Alessandra, who is determined to win the camp competition, and in the evolving daily life at camp. The farm work itself is mostly laid-back, and time management is straightforward despite the many opportunities for optimization. However, the fun of the game is marred by occasional bugs and the lack of consistency in how performance is rewarded.
