All in all, OVER REQUIEMZ is a very solid otome game that made me eager to see more of its tormented main cast. Here’s hoping there’s a second game.

OVER REQUIEMZ is an excellent modern otome visual novel that reimagines The Wizard of Oz through a much darker lens, backed by strong character writing, fantastic Japanese voice acting, and consistently engaging routes. Its streamlined choice system and especially the contrasting Fact and Dark branches give the cast far more depth than expected, with only some rushed transitions and uneven pacing holding the story back from being truly exceptional.

OVER REQUIEMZ has its own individuality. It's not just another otomate game where you find the answer and the affection meter goes up. It's a deeper character study in a distorted Wizard of Oz, and its best moments reveal just how captivating that pairing can be.
Fans of dark otome stories and yandere characters will find plenty to enjoy in Over RequiemZ.

A good adjective to describe OVER REQUIEMZ would be “concise.” The game avoids wasting time establishing a complex world or secondary characters outside the chosen route, focusing almost entirely on the plot involving the love interest, the protagonist, and their relationship.
