Critic Reviews for ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny

ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny is an interesting concept that falls a bit short in execution and presentation. While it does do a few things well, such as its control scheme and card mechanics, it is incredibly lacking in content and misses several key things that would've made it great and worth getting through the relatively steep barrier to entry. The game definitely has the potential to become one of the better RTS experiences on the PS4 but it will definitely need a few large content and feature updates if it wants to get there.

ArmaGallant is a budget production, and that means that it will likely not sustain the community that a game of its nature needs. I'm already finding myself queuing for ten minutes at time to get a match going, and that's really disappointing, because this is one I could see myself playing for quite a while yet, given half the chance. It also helps that I am, to date, actually undefeated. Bring on a world championships and those eSports sponsorships, please, I want to turn pro at ArmaGallant.

For its asking price of $19.99/£19.99, ArmaGallant feels short on content. Yes, it does offer a unique and polished experience, but with only two maps and one game type to choose from, it almost feels like it should be a free-to-play version of the full title.
