X-Morph: Defense Reviews
All in all, X-Morph Defense is a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to the European Assault being added over to the Nintendo Switch. With great Twin-Stick Shooter elements alongside a very robust Tower Defense formula, there’s something here for fans of either side for both some solo or coop gameplay.
This is possibly the greatest trick X-Morph: Defense has up it’s sleeve; it can be very challenging at times, but it gives you all of the tools you need to exert utter dominance over the incoming threat if you can pay the time and attention to plan correctly, and to adapt to the changes that each wave brings. Flexibility and change are the big elements that set X-Morph’s brand of tower defense apart from the rest, requiring you to always be on your toes and to be equally skilled in being proactive and reactive.
EXCELLENT - X-Morph: Defense brings a visually stunning and polished tower defense meets twin-stick shooter game to the Nintendo Switch. I loved the dynamic free-form tactics I was able to employ in every mission, and there’s just a lot of refined gameplay here. That coupled with so many visual effects happening in every battle, it created one of the most chaotically fun experiences I’ve had yet on this platform. For an MSRP of $19.99, I consider this a steal for an excellent game.
An excellent and unique tower defence, combining lane strategy and shooter gameplay to great effect.
X-Morph: Defense is a brilliant tower defence game. This time we are the invaders and need to defend our invasion. We can fight all over the world, in nice locations, but it's not as simple TD as most. We need to balance power supply, fight against fighters and dynamically change paths to be able to survive. Even the first level is tough. And that's good.

X-Morph: Defense was a blast to play. I never ran into any issues gameplay wise and never ran into really wanting something more. It was a fast-paced, bullet hell, tower defense, and enjoyed my time with the game. I would definitely recommend people keep an eye out for this game, especially fans of tower defenses. They add some great elements into the genre to keep it fresh and desirable!
X-Morph Defense is a strange one: it doesn't deserve to be as good as it is, and it's very good! Fans of twin-stick shooters will be happy, while tower-defense nuts will also be happy. You take on Earth, you kill the good guys, and you can even do it with a mate in co-op mode. There's a decent campaign, though that's about it. In all, it's a shame there aren't more modes and that the voice acting can be irritating, but if they're my biggest complaints then I say it's a job well done to the developers.
