Critic Reviews for Oh My Godheads

A fun take on a classic format, great to play with friends—hectic and unique, but easy to understand and play.

Oh My Godheads is a 1-4 player, fast paced brawler based around massive heads of mythological deities which are out to get you. While it's a lot of fun with friends, a lack of depth and poor AI mean it's not so much fun without any.

A sometimes limited but deliciously offbeat affair, Oh My Godheads joins the ever expanding roster of couch based multiplayer efforts on PS4 and can easily be recommended to those who can get the mates and the corresponding number of snacks/drinks in.

Oh My Godheads is a fun game if you are looking at it from the multiplayer side of things, but it manages to have something for the single player gamer too.

Oh My Godheads: Party Edition gets its primary goals right: it's a fun and entertaining multiplayer party game for the Nintendo Switch, one which offers a good variety of levels and which can provide some enjoyable four-player sessions. It doesn't fully live up to what it could do, unfortunately, and after a not too great amount of time Oh My Godheads starts losing its appeal, also due to its short length.

Oh My Godheads has the perfect formula that makes a good game. A gameplay that works and a simple but great art design, but we feel that there's a lack of ambition of the developers, and it's a pity that doesn't include an online mode.

Titutitech's Oh My Godheads has come to Nintendo Switch and its wacky concept can't compensate for a stale gameplay loop

If you buy Oh My Godheads, you will get an exciting local-multiplayer CTF game with a few tacked-on, lesser modes. There is not much to it outside of Capture the Head, and even that probably will not hold your attention for too long. Frankly, it is hard to recommend when party games like Ultimate Chicken Horse and Towerfall are available on Switch.
