It is not that this game has undergone a new change to its visuals or gameplay, but that it has become a complete adventure containig all of its expansion in a unique physical edition. Besides, this represents its arrival on Nintendo Switch, which means that it is in a position that allows for it to get new players.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is more than the sum of its parts, but I just wish a few of those parts were original concepts.
Shantae Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition is, like its name says, the ultimate edition of Half-Genie Hero, which now makes it to the Nintendo Switch with additional content that provides some new and varied mechanics, even if there is also a lot of recycled content. Those who did not have a chance to play the original will feel fully satisfied with this release.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Ultimate Edition really is the definitive version of this already fantastic game. The DLC, while not as strong as the main game, is a nice bonus, with some very creative use of Shantae and her friends. If you haven't already tried this game, the answer is easy: play this now!
With a bevy of bonuses, including content that was previously only available to Kickstarter backers, this truly is the definitive edition of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.
This game is fun for all ages and provides you with the opportunity to play as a female heroine for once in a while. She uses her hair as a weapon and transforms by belly dancing to save the world. Yes this is awesome.
There isn't much left to say about Shantae: Half Genie Hero; longtime fans have no reason at all to ignore this latest (and possibly greatest) entry in the series, and players itching for a polished platformer with a gorgeous presentation and a whole lot of charm have even less reason to miss out. As long as the community continues to vote with their dollars, Wayforward will continue to grant the wishes of old-school gamers everywhere.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - Ultimate Edition is without a doubt one of the best platformers out on a modern-day console.
