Call of Duty: WW2 - United Front is a bit all over the place. The three new multiplayer maps do very little to deliver anything fresh or new, and the new War mission is also mostly more of the same. But the changes to the Zombies formula in The Tortured Path really shake up the experience and deliver something that feels more nuanced and original from what we've seen out of that mode in years. As a package, it's mostly just okay, with only a couple of true high points.

Season passes for Call of Duty games are unpredictable. Sometimes they'll dole out maps you can't find in any other shooter and add a nice zombie cherry on top (Treyarch is the king of that sweetness). On many other occasions they'll simple augment the existing experience, and your mileage may vary depending on how strong the core is. That's how United Front feels.

At this point, The United Front DLC illustrates exactly what Sledgehammer needs to work on, while highlighting exactly what makes Call of Duty so damn popular as a franchise.

United Front DLC is the first one worth the money. Different maps, their atmosphere and designs will be appreciate by snipers and close combat fans alike.

Sledgehammer has done a pretty good job of bolstering up a title that launched with considerably less content than its predecessors, and the recent introduction of yet another new class, the shield-carrying 'Cavalry,' is testament to this. Hop onto any online match now and it will look like half the team is carrying car doors around with them for protection. Is this exercise in shark jumping historically accurate? Nope... but then who plays Call of Duty expecting an authentic experience, eh? As for Call of Duty: WWII - United Front: DLC Pack 3, it's hardly going to set the gaming world alight, but it does exactly what it sets out to do, with both 'Operation Supercharge' and 'Monte Cassino' being particularly strong highlights.

United Front may be the most packed DLC for Call Of Duty: WWII as it not only offers one map, but essentially three zombie maps that function as an entirely new experience. The multiplayer maps are somewhat lackluster except for well put together set pieces. It’s standard fare. It functions how players have come to expect without trying to re-invent the wheel. The same sadly goes for the War Mode map, Operation Supercharge, which had the most momentum coming off a stellar experience in the previous DLC outing. If you are a fan of Nazi Zombies, United Front could very well be a must have for you and your friends for the challenge alone.

The 3rd DLC for Call of Duty WWII doesn't offer anything new in terms of multiplayer maps except the name of one of the most famous WWII battles which was missing from the main game, but the DLC brought alot of changes to survival mode in terms of the content and different settings.
