Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Heavy Burger Reviews
As a wacky idea, I love Heavy Burger. It's such a goofy way to use old games in a new way. In execution, it's woefully scattershot. My fun with it lasted as long as the joke was still funny. Once that wore off, the multiplayer matches dried up fast. I wish this was a little better because I would love to see more things like it, but as it stands, Heavy Burger works better as a gag than a game.
Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Heavy Burger is a game that you're going to enjoy more if you can get some human friends to sit down for some fun local multiplayer mayhem. The AI bots do a nice job of keeping things going, but having human teammates and opponents is when the game truly shines. It's weird, it's hectic, and it's fun, so be sure to give this one a go on Nintendo Switch
A competitive twin-stick shooter with matches that play like Nidhogg is such a fantastic idea for a game.
Heavy Burger is a fantastic multiplayer game, taking the frantic nature of a twin stick shooter and making it into an ultimate tug of war. During the time spent with a pair of friends, we had an incredible time together, although the fun didn’t really last for that long. While this game is incredibly fun and has a stellar formula, the game itself is very light on content considering the $20 pricetag.
