Critic Reviews for Timber Tennis: Versus
Timber Tennis Versus is everything you'd want in a competitive game - simple controls and challenging gameplay. Playing against other players makes for a great time, but the single player lacks both challenge and depth. Still, you'd be hard pressed to find a $2 game this competitive or perhaps this enjoyable.
Timber Tennis: Versus is not a serious, in-depth tennis game and by itself, that's not a sin. Unfortunately, its simple experience does not provide the player with any significant elements to spend time around it, with its shallow gameplay, lack of content and lack of online playing partners. Overall, Timber Tennis: Versus offers very little beyond its easy game mechanics and low price tag.

A poor gameplay experience leaves a lot to be desired for Timber Tennis: Versus, in an overall forgetable experience.
It's by no means an essential game, but it's passable for (very) short bursts of play.
Timber Tennis: Versus is a fun and minimalist take on the beloved sport. It's a game that everyone can get into, with simple gameplay mechanics that are easy to understand. This is a budget release that is up on PlayStation 4 for only $2.99, which is a great price for the amount of content that is made available in the game, particularly its online multiplayer so that you can test your skills from players around the world. If you're OK with the game hitting the ball for you, which annoyed me a bit but was not deal-breaker, then you will fun an entertaining arcade-style release.
Timber Tennis: Versus is a fun arcade-style take on the sport that will keep you busy for a while.
Timber Tennis: Versus takes far too many liberties with the game of tennis to be enjoyable. Its simple control scheme may be easy to learn, but it proves to be far too basic for both casual and hardcore gamers.
With so many better tennis and indie sports games on the market, it's hard to recommend Timber Tennis: Versus.
