Critic Reviews for Last Year The Nightmare
Last Year: The Nightmare is among the best the asymmetrical survival-horror genre has to offer so far. While it's light on content and has some severe bugs, the rewarding class-based gameplay and great killer diversity makes each match feel slightly different and equally exciting.
Last Year's core gameplay is solid, but the thrills are short-lived due to a lack of content
An interesting way to re-conduct the style of Dead by Daylight. Powerful survivors able to win the battle if they work together. A good experience and full of strategical choices for the serial killer.

Though I feel I’ve experienced every facet of what the game currently has to offer, I’ve enjoyed my time with Last Year: The Nightmare.
Last Year: The Nightmare is a fun, albeit shallow experience that could use more content and reasons to keep playing. In the increasingly crowded market of asymmetrical online horror games, Last Year manages to streamline a lot of what usually makes these types of games so frustrating to play.
While Last Year: The Nightmare shows a lot of promise, the game simply feels shallow at the moment. The game can be really fun at times but no progression, bugs and glitches and horrific balance issues can ruin all the fun.
Last Year: The Nightmare is an admirable take on the asymmetrical survival horror genre, and despite not doing too many things outside of the box, the stellar presentation and level of detail throughout helps the game survive long enough to warrant the price of entry for fans of the genre.
Last Year: The Nightmare is a five vs one team-based jaunt through a decimated high school playing tag with a serial killer that entertainingly evokes the feel of popular horror B-movies.
