Yoshi's Woolly World is a game that's very easy to love. Sure, it can come across as overly simplistic at times, but it more than makes up for this with its incredible visuals and relaxing score.

Yoshi's Woolly World is game that doesn't pretend to be anything that it isn't. It capitalizes on cute and charming and creates a worthwhile game with plenty to look forward to. Its fatal flaw is only that its appeal runs short for gamers who look for the complexity and skill challenge Nintendo's other platformers offer.

A delightful knitted theme makes Yoshi's Woolly Worlda true joy to play, as everything from Yoshi and his various abilities, to the landscapes and elemental hazards, is beautifully rendered. The accessible gameplay ensures that such a visually delightful title can be experienced by as many people as possible, while the hidden collectibles and special stages more than make up for it and will test the reflexes of many gamers. It's easy to recommend this game to anyone who is endeared by its presentation and enjoys 2D platformers, as everyone has the autonomy to tailor the experience to his or her own skill set.

Yoshi's Woolly World is Nintendo at their inventive best. Delightful and deceptively devious, this sensational platformer encourages you to explore, experiment and genuinely play with it at every turn.

Despite the odd frustration, Yoshi's Woolly World is an incredibly fun romp. It has been a long time since the world got to see a console Yoshi game, and the fact it hearkens back to its SNES roots better than the recent handheld attempt is a joy to behold. This is one of the best platformers I have played in a long time.

Overall, I was very pleased with Yoshi’s Woolly World. My playthrough took around 13 hours, and that’s without finding all the hidden goodies. When you factor that in, you probably have 15-20 hours of fun, more if you decided to take things slow and play on Mellow Mode, or try out co-op with a buddy. It took 20 years, but I feel Woolly World is the successor that Yoshi’s Island has always deserved. I’m really happy with it, and it truly shows how talented Good-Feel is at treating a beloved franchise with care and respect. I highly recommend this to fans of Yoshi, young and old, and hope this isn’t the last adventure for Mario’s plucky dinosaur steed.

Woolly World bring back a lot of what fans loved from Yoshi's Story into the modern area. While the game isn't overwhelming, it is pretty good. With its unique boss fights, fun gameplay, and a wonderful aesthetic Woolly World is worth a pickup.

An adorable journey, and yet tougher than it looks. There is great fun to be had here when flying solo or with a friend. Good-Feel has created another epic yarn-filled experience.

There are a lot of - perhaps too many - familiar moments early on, but the gameplay is just as great now as you remember it being in 1994.
